44 Reading alot of these reviews seems I'm not the only one to be mislead and robbed of money.
We booked flick on 12 month payment plan. The 12 months rolled around and i waited to be contacted for someone to come out again. I never reveievd a call or email so assumed our business/payment was done and they werent interested so we went else where.
Another payment was taken out so called them as asked for refund as we haven't booked another service. They advised and enail was sent to us asking us to book or cancel and they hadn't received a reply so they took more money as we hadn't 'cancelled' I advised we had not received an email I want to cancel this service. I was told I won't get a refund for this month and they will be charging me next month the also. I argued the point that we had not been contacted in any way to cancel but the lady on the phone refused and did not listen to a word I said explaining this.
If your not going to follow up customers about a continued service you should not be allowed to charge or take money from them. This is so wrong. I would not recommend Flick to anyone ever. Well done on screwing your customers over.
Flickr changed the dates of inspection without communication to household. The Flickr driver advised that we weren’t even on the daily list for an inspection today The Flickr driver started a pest spray not a termite inspection. My wife had to stop him from spraying the house and to call the administrator before proceeding. I rang Flickr and I was lied too as well.
Ryan did a great job in inspecting and treating both inside and outside Call centre is a bit slow in responding to bookings requests
Ethan Gardener was the technician who attended our property for yearly inspection, he was well mannered & very thorough.
Do not sign up for direct debit with Flick. I was charged $41.99 for 14 months now & still waiting for my refund. Not a happy customer!
We've been with Flick for about three years. They annually inspect our home and every three years top up our termite system. The on-site technicians (Rachel and Cheree) are excellent. Thorough in their inspections, even going as far to inspect trees on our neighbour's property, they are also courteous and efficient. The follow-up written reports are delivered in a very timely fashion, usually within 24 hours of the service. In the office, Kaylene works hard to maintain excellent customer relations. I would recommend Flick Newcastle without hesitation.
Ethan provided a great service. He was on time and efficient. Very happy with the pest control Flick has provided us for the last couple of years.
Ryan Ballard was extremely polite, informative, & knowledgeable. He was friendly & happy to answer any questions I had.

I have no complaints about the pest service. It was effective and performed by a professional and respectful technician.
However, I am in disbelief as I have discovered Flick has continued to take monthly payments for two months past the 1 year was up. It could have gone on endlessly had I not realised and called them. Beware of this business. A simple phone call on completion of my 12 mth contract would have been a more transparent and fair way to deal with customers. As I didn't see the email they sent, and I didn't respond they continued to take payments. So they were aware there had been no second service provided but somehow they felt justified in taking payment. Apparently it is not possible for them to refund also. Unbelievable!
I have been using this company for many years now, last year I was told to continue receiving the 12 month warranty I had to sign up to pay monthly instalments rather then just paying for the service up front! Weird but ok I did it, I then realised money was still being taken from our account after the 12 month payment period and I had no phone call to re book another spray like I have received for the past 6-7 years, the lady I spoke to in Newcastle I asked her if I could book in a full spray and you take the 4 months off my bill that you had taken from my account and she said no she could only do 1 month free (hilarious it’s not free I already bloody paid) This is criminal you can not take peoples money without completing a service. You are ripping people off and at a time like this it is absolutely disgusting and I hope more people start to realise you are just taking advantage of them! I will never use your services again and I will be talking to fair trading!
Still waiting for Newcastle area manager to call me back a week later!
I used their service in Sept 2021 for a termite inspection. I was told that there is a COVID offer for a direct debit of $20 a month for 12 months. I agreed for that and the job was done. In Jan 2023 I realised that an amount of $ 20.99 is still getting deducted from my account without my permission. I gave permission for direct debit only for one year. When I checked with the Newcastle shop, they told me that they send me an email last August to renew the service and I did not reply to their email, hence the money is still deducting. I can say that this is cheating money. They should have gained permission from me to deduct money from my account after the agreed time of one year.
Please be careful with such cheating.

I called to book in a pest control on the 16th of November to be done on December the 15th so one month in advance. I called today to double check what time they will be coming out and the lady that I spoke to advised me that there is no booking and that the lady who was meant to book it didn’t actually process it and book it in mind you I’ve been paying a direct debit as I signed up for the 12 month pest control deal. I was very disappointed as they couldn’t fit me in until after Christmas and New Years when this was booked a month in advance as it’s a holiday apartment and I’m running a business! Very unprofessional I will never recommend this service to anyone
Very disappointed that the price went from just under $300 to over $400 in one year for an external service for spiders, ants and cockroaches on an average-size house. We have always used this company but as pensioners we will look further next time.
Professional service, Ethan was polite and did a thorough inspection, explained everything well and provided advice.
Eathan the inspector was very polite and professional. He took into account that I was running my childcare business from home and made sure all was safe. Eathan talked about any concerns he found, and gave me the appropriate advice to follow up on this. Eathan was very considerate of my 2 dogs too. I highly recommend this service, and Thankyou Eathan for another good inspection.

Booked to get a quote in. Confirmed for 27th, got a text day before to confirm replied with Y to confirm. Took the day off for it and no one turned up. Called, no answer left a message and a text and no response three days later. Are you guys gonna pay my annual leave? !
Customer service is terrible.
We have used your service going on 7 years now. Last year we didn’t get the outside sprayed on the day due to the weather but had the termite inspection done and the inside was sprayed so I paid for the service in full.
After this the covid lockdowns happened and we had a newborn baby so calling you to rebook the outside spray was the furtherest thing on my mind.
After you recently called me to rebook for this year, no one even bothered to mention that we missed our outside spray last year and when I mentioned it, I was told ‘we called you once and left a voice mail’. No voicemail was left, because if it was, it would have reminded me to call back. However, either way this is irrelevant. I paid for a service that we did not receive and your administration was happy to just sweep that under the rug and move on.
Initially I was told that if we rebooked the full service again for this year, they would only remove $70 from the total amount. Then when I asked how much it would be to just have the termite inspection done they advised that they can only remove $40 from the amount. Given that we are paying a lot for these services, it’s disappointing to see that your company is not worried about losing customers.
If it wasn’t for our termite warranty. I would not be using your service again.
