Fitzroy Gardens reviews
8 Well designed, open green space at the heart of Potts Point, Fitzroy Gardens is a great place to visit. It’s made up of several different areas, including a cool fountain, a lower area with some benches, and an upper area with a small section of turf and more seating. It’s surrounded by a variety of restaurants and just down the road from the train station.
Although this isn’t a place I would travel to just to visit, it’s a great spot to read a book, eat lunch, or meet friends if you’re in the neighborhood.
In the heart of the area with plenty of trees and seating. Includes the El Alamein War Memorial Fountain and Angled Wheels of Fortune scupture. There are public toilets available as well.
Small green space in Potts point. Great weekend market. Good play area for kids. Many cafes are around this park. Pet friendly. Beautiful fountain. Distance to different cities are displayed and its wonderful. Can expect homeless roaming around the park during evening and night.
Saturday morning markets have a wonderful community vibe and great choice of food on offer.
Great markets with plenty of variety and stay open into the afternoon. Plus kids playground is safe and always swarming with kids.
Classic iconic Sydney on street cafe scene with bustling and trendy walkways and markets. A must visit place. Try a Saturday morning!
Lovely area with a beautiful fountain, grassed area, loads of seats and rybbish bins. Great play area for kids with toilets nearby.
A small but a lovely green space in Kings Cross/Potts Point near the El Alamein Fountain. This used to be a very dirty and dark little park but it's been cleaned up. There's a kids' playground in one corner and the Kings Cross police station is right across from the park. There's a weekend market here as well which isn't too shabby. It's a relaxing little spot especially at lunch hour. I quite like this little Park. Australia Post is nearby and there's public lavatory next to the police station.
