43Great gym with plenty of equipment. Yes it does get full but I always get the equipment I need and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
Phoned them in July to freeze my membership which they said they would do. I didn't bother checking they had done it, so when I saw charges still coming through on my bank statement I called them again to see what was happening. They said they had no record of the membership freeze. They wouldn't refund the payments so I cancelled my membership. If you have anything to do with Fitness First, make sure to ask who you are speaking to and make sure you get a confirmation email.
I lost my top there. Tired to find it the next morning but nothing. The cleaner took it.
I wonder how you manage your staff.
They just called me said they find it. Not bad I guess
So disappointing to wait for them to fix broken equipment whenever they want. This one on the photo has been broken for 2 months.
Great gym, however it would be really nice if they put some effort into fixing up the showers. There are lots of broken doors, no shower heads, broken soap holders.
This is not platinum level at all. It's been like this for a long time now and looks like there is no intention of improving them.
The gym is clean and most of the time tidy too.
It would be great to see some old boxing pins bags replaced with new ones and the return of the scales.
At the moment, not too many people are around and it makes the place more pleasant.
Apparently it's the biggest gym in the southern hemisphere! Super well equipped, just missing a pendulum squat to be perfect. It's just closed on the weekend ;)
Staff always ready to help and atmosphere in general is friendly. The experience of a visit to bond Street fittness first s always uplifting and helps carry you through the rest of your day.

The best fitness first gym I have been to so far!
3 floors, really spacious, plenty of equipment, always clean and tidy and the weights are always in order which is great.
The staff are always really friendly on reception and in the gym.
The bottom floor has great space for boxing / bag work, sled pushes and x2 great weight areas.
The equipment is always in working order.
Keep it up!
Biggest gripes across the franchise is the ‘music’ they play in any of their gyms and the level or lack of hygiene in the change rooms. Disgusting. The people on here that think it’s clean - I shudder to think what your homes are like.
Best gym in Sydney CBD in terms of size and availability of equipment. Great fitness classes. Matt at the desk is lovely!
One of my favourite gym's. They can improve the shampoo and body wash in the showers. Classes are okay and some coaches are really nice.
THE place to go if you are a gym junky. Everything you could possibly ask for in one place, except a pool. Three levels of incredibly bulk amounts of equipment. You will never have to wait for anything!
Awesome facilities. This gym is closed on weekends. I would have given 5 stars if this gym is open on the weekends.
Matt Grant is an excellent RPM instructor. His energy and motivation is palpable in the class. And I feel his classes have motivated to me to try harder to improve my fitness and to maintain my exercise routine regularly.
Evie Murdoch is also a very good RPM instructor. Luke Fletcher is very good too, however he only teaches there occasionally.
Like all facilities, there are a mix of good and not-so-good fitness class instructors.
One of the nicest fitness first gyms in sydney I reckon. Huge variety of equipment, very spacious, and has 3 floors. The only thing is that it gets very busy during peak hours so you might have to wait to use an equipment you want
One of my favourite gym's. They can improve the shampoo and body wash in the showers. Classes are okay and some coaches are really nice.
Every time me or my family members deal with Fitness First, we realise that the organisation is focused on draining as much as money as possible from members.
After many years of being signed up to this gym, I have noticed a culture of enforcing legal terms and conditions on customers. The thick contracts are rigged with a variety of terms and conditions that protect the organisation against the customer.
You need to leave? Oh, surprise! Don’t forget to pay $X.
Your contract expired? Oh, you didn’t give us a cancellation notice. So now you need to pay $X.
All of this is included between the lines in the agreements, yes, but the only way a customer can keep track would be to memorise the agreement in detail and prepare well in advance to prevent the money-grab.
We will never sign up to this gym again. It is not the kind of organisation that we would like to support.
Might be one of the biggest fitnessfirst but everytime i go here i feel so stressed there are some staff that make you feel like you never went here i never feel like this at any other fitnessfirst
Rude guy at reception.tanned older Asian guy no hello or good bye. First words as I entered “ come here, as I left at closing time “ GO OUT THROUGH FIRE DOOR” then turned around and continued his conversation. Extremely rude, obnoxious. Disgusting get him out of there. They think they’re better then you
Good gym with heaps of equipment. Only question, why do I have to pay for a towel if I am paying platinum fees.
