First National Newcastle City reviews
13 Prospective purchaser in late 2021. Asked for a phone call about a property I was offering on. I was text messaged instead of called and as a result did not increase my offer. I was willing to offer more than the property sold for. Something for sellers to think about.
Response: as you will see from my review the SOLE reason I didn't increase my offer was because the agent was texting me and did not call me.
Underquote Auctions guides.
Update: This was not the property I was referring to so I will leave it up. Thanks for the reply though.
Dealt with Kathryn as I was looking for a rental property in the area. Despite going for another property and agency, Kathryn was very accomodating and supportive of virtual inspections. Kathryn is great to work with.
Overall poor service, was given a sarcastic response by one of there agents on a property qtn, I pushed ahead and when asked if I liked the property I expressed interest, only for the agents assistant (I assume) to go back to scrolling her phone. Very Poor service.
Since having purchased the property Kathryn and the property management team have exceeded my expectations, and I have high standards, as this is my 5th property and have dealt with more than a dozen real estate agents. Kathryn was very knowledgeable and professional when answering my questions and ensuring she understood how I wanted my property managed. She and her team were able to select excellent renters and also assist with a variety of renovation and repair works. To call her team an excellent property management team would be an understatement.
The good news is you do not have to take my word for it, as a seasoned investor I can guarantee 15 minutes on the phone with Kathryn and you will know your property is in the best possible hands. I would and have recommended First National Newcastle's services to both friends and family already
We purchased our property from Liliana, the transaction was impeccable, we could not fault the attention and customer service she provided us. We did not once have to follow her up on anything. We decided to lease the property with them, the rental manager Kathryn and her team matched Liliana’s approach to customer service and responsiveness. We believe these ladies have been with this agency for years. The word “experience” also comes to mind. From the first meeting these ladies meant business! To us, we don’t judge a business when things are going right, things are easy to manage in that situation. We judge them on their reaction to things not going so well. We look for agents that we can work with and will not only look after my property but also my tenants. We don’t know how many people are in their rental department but everyone of the ladies who contact us about our property have the same standard and professional approach. They are only a phone call away. You can always gauge how well you will be looked after by their tenacity and how well they manage expectations and from our experience with them, so far, they have.
Professional team of experienced staff.
Made the stressful experience of selling mum's home an ease.
Have negotiated property sales with Ray White, Creer and Love Real Estates over 10 years. Have always had exceptional service and clear communications for the 6 properties we have negotiated on behalf of relatives. Very disappointed FIrst National, with the manner in which a property for sale in Mt Hutton was handled. Firstly the price guide under quoted. I believe the agents B and M wanted a quick non conditional sale rather than gaining more money for vendor. There was some very very poor communication and I would suggest anyone dealing with Brooke or Matt get accepted offers in writing. Word gets around in Newcastle quickly. A friend had similar miscommunications regarding suspicious underquoting and offers with same couple with Carmen Street property. They may have just had a bad week, and may well be good at their jobs. But be wary. I have had a good experience with two of their colleagues Liliana and Tom. Keep a look out for them if dealing with First National! Happy house hunting.
Will not fix anything. Even if you are zapped by a power point. Will make up excuse to take some of or all of your bond. It's the most unprofessional real estate I have ever dealt with and I've dealt with a few.
First impressions of Lilana and Tom at Main Rd Cardiff property was friendly, professional and efficient. Good teamwork and provided property information in a timely manner. Didn’t buy property but Liliana’s follow up was also good.
Thanks.
Jo
We recently purchased a home at auction that was sold by Liliana and George, they bent over backwards for me with as many inspections as I wanted and were absolutely efficient in providing my solicitor with contracts etc and everything we needed - to make what was a stressy experience so much easier! They are honestly the best and full of integrity - if we ever sold a home they would be our first choice! Thank you thank you! Highly recommended 10/10!
George Rafty and Luke Murdoch at First National in The Junction are very good people to deal with regarding sale of your home or investment. Options are provided in simple terms, they have local contacts and knowledge and during the sale process the team are in regular contact with updates.
Couldn't ask for more, thanks
Nick
First National have taken on management of my property from a terrible real estate prior and I am absolutely taken back by the effort and care they put into my property. Keep up the fantastic work and I would recommend First National to anyone with an investment property.
