First Class Slate Roofing

We had a slate roof on a Victorian semi that had been so badly installed that we ended up getting First Class Slate Roofing to completely replace it. The project was efficiently managed, and the tradespeople worked hard and took pride in their skills. It ran smoothly, despite being quite a tricky job, and the roof now looks beautiful. First Class Slate Roofing came recommended to us because of their extensive work on heritage buildings and their good reputation. We have used First Class Slate Roofing for a number of our roof projects from repairs to replacement and from slate to terracotta and also for a metal roof on the extension. They have never let us down. Their knowledge and expertise in roofing is extensive, they are very skilled and reliable. We wont use anyone else. And their prices are competitive because they don’t have the overheads of those very big roofing companies.

I live in a block of townhouses which recently had over $100k worth of roof repairs undertaken. In the recent rain, our roof leaked badly, causing ceiling damage. The original roofing company ignored calls from Strata to return to assess the leak and Strata contacted First Class Slate Roofing for advice. Scott attended promptly, fixed our leak and also assessed other roof leaks within the complex. The service provided by First Class Slate Roofing was prompt, professional and good value for money, so much in that our Strata company now use them for all of our roof repairs.

Scott and the team were amazing! Quoted quickly and came back and did the work really fast. The team were professional, courteous, really knew their stuff, understand slate roofs and didnt try to overcharge us when they saw the height of the roof. I highly recomend these guys

As far as slate roofing goes, I think these guys are as good as you can get in Sydney. Scott has been transparent with the quote and scope of work from the start. He uses high quality materials and really cares about quality. His boys (particularly Harry and Brad) are very skilled, polite and hard workers. They work great as a team and take good care of our property. Even our neighbours adore them!

The end result is spectacular. Our new slate roof looks amazing and dramatically improves the appearance of our Victorian house. We couldn't be any happier with First Class Slate Roofing and will be using them for all roofing work in the future!

Scott and his team did a brilliant job installing a new slate roof on my home in Marrickville. Professional, reliable, good communicators. They were a pleasure to deal with and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

When an owner of an old terrace house experiences Internal water damage due to roof damage after a storm you want two things from a roofer 1) a prompt response (before the next rain) and 2) a professional repair. Scott and his team did both. Scott did a temporary repair very quickly that withstood the next big rain and hsi team did an extremely professional repair soon after. All done extremely courteously and all appointments were met on time. I highly recommend Scott and his team.

Somerset Strata Committee recently engaged the services of First Class Slate Roofing to undertake remediation work on our estate. Work undertaken by Scott and his team was to replace all lead flashings and to remove and replace broken roof tiles. Whilst the team were on site they conducted themselves in a courteous and professional manner. At the completion of the work all materials were removed from site. Came round to fix a leak in the roof - turns out it was being caused by leafs stuck on to the roof pooling up water. He fixed it in minutes and didn't charge me. When I get my roof properly fixed he's the man I'm calling.
