Fingal Bay Holiday Park

Great caravan Park. If you have a bigger van (21.6) like us, request a Drive Thru lot, RV lot or even an ensuite lot. The older sites are better suited to vans 18-19feet.
However, the facilities are excellent and very modern. The park is tidy with a mix of cabins, van sites and camping sites. Also very neat looking permanent vans. Close to a beautiful beach and cafes, 1 in each direction.
Dog and kid friendly. Activity room and pool is great for all kids, small and large alike.
We will be back.

Our site was across from the amenities, kitchen and game room. All night long we heard a robotic voice saying "Stack 'em up! ". The only door was a screen door which did nothing to block the sound. Yes I gave it a try some time after midnight.

Amenities were nice and clean. Kitchen was fine, no oven and bring your own pans and such, but good cooking space.

We paid $90 for a tent site. We don't need power, but there doesn't seem to be unpowered sites available at the campground.

Fantastic location opposite a patrolled beach. Lovely well maintained gardens surrounding the 3 bedroom villa. Kookaburras on the deck and peaceful, quiet stay. Kids enjoyed the pool and games room. Only minor negative was the limited 2 sachets of washing powder for 5 night stay, needed a couple more.

We have now booked a powered van sites on 2 occasions here, once in July and once in March. Pleasant helpful staff. Awesome modern facilities inc pool. Located opposite Fingal Beach and 5 minutes from Shoal Bay and Nelson Bay. Would highly recommend this park!

A great place to have a family holiday. A beautiful safe beach across a quiet road and cycleways heading to Nelson Bay and beyond.
The site has a great camp kitchen and the toilets are kept spotlessly clean.

Only downside was the pitches could be bigger for today's set ups and bigger vehicles. The bushes and trees could do with a trim as they were encroaching on the pitches, otherwise a great place to holiday.

We camped there two nights in December 2022. Excellent campsite, powered, fairly flat, grassed, bushes sheltered us from the wind. Excellent, large, clean, ablutions block and camp kitchen. I recommend this park.

Second time we have stayed here - but this time we upgraded to a luxury villa and it was worth the extra - heaps of room, high ceilings, large covered verandah and a dishwasher:) only downside was we had pretty much zero wifi in the cabin (#5) - so if you need to do work or similar might be worth ringing beforehand to get a cabin in the good wifi position within the park.

We booked 3 bedroom villa. It was very clean and spacious.

Service is friendly except WiFi wasn't good.

This is by far becoming one of my favourite holiday parks to stay at. The reception staff are always so welcoming and the location is perfectly situated a short stroll to the beach. The amenities are new and cleaned daily and plenty for the kids to do with two swimming pools (a kiddie and an adult one), plenty of bbq areas, bike hire, games room, huge kitchen and hall, tennis courts and plenty of safe space for the kids to ride their bikes/scooters around. We usually always hire a tent space which is plenty for our 10p tent + gazebo and enough space for our honda crv to be parked. This is our second trip back and safe to say will be plenty more.

Fingal Bay is a excellent holiday park. We got a Budget Cabin it has everything we needed. The budget Cabin has a double size bed and 2 bunk beds. We have a family of 4 which is perfect.
Your 5 min walk down beach ️ 8 min to the local takeaway. It's a nice stroll down of a morning.
The Holiday Park also has a pool for both adults and kids. Staff were very friendly.
We would definitely come back here. Loved it that much.

Beautifully located at Fingal Bay right across the road from the water & just minutes walk from the shops. The holiday park is inviting with lovely clean amenities a beautiful camp kitchen & great size pool well worth a stay. Lovely place

Wonderful place, great bathrooms, which cater for unisex genders which is perfect. Also were wonderful walks nearby.

Beautiful park. Visited family and spent the day there. Pool was refreshing, toilet and shower block clean.

The staff were rude and unhelpful. The closest shower block had no running water when we arrived. They have crammed far too many sites into one area, walking to the toilet is like walking across the Shibuya Crossing. Gate codes didn’t work to enter or exit the park. Terrible experience, would not recommend.

Good place for family with kids.
Lot to do, close to the beach and has private pool.
Good facilities for visitors.

Love this caravan park, not only is it super close to the beach and the local cafe but it is amazing as a park itself. The park it self is well kept, clean and has great staff throughout - reception staff always happy and helpful and cleaners bright and cheerful.
Is definitely a place I will continue to return to on an annual basis!

Port Stephens holiday parks Fingal Bay
is the the place to go if you like being bullied & harassed by a group of children & park management & company after hours refused to help, even when one of the children started throwing rock at the tent.this is very disappointing as I have stayed here before & now has gone down hill.it seems like the manager of this park is only interested in taking your money & not in looking after their guest. I would strongly suggest to stay away from this park.the one star is only so I could put up post
