Fez & Co

I waited mins. Kept checking on my order. And being told it was coming. Finally when i went to the counter I was passed a cold coffee and the egg and bacon roll and told it had been there waiting. But notnlong. It was cold and horrid. Won't be going there again.

I ordered a coffee to take away and after waiting a little too long the coffee I received was incorrect. I took it back to the barista and politely explained the mistake. He took the coffee back quite rudely and I believe rectified without making a fresh one. The second coffee was also incorrect and he was also less than impressed that I wanted what I ordered. This is a nice cafe but please get a new barista!

Ohhh my gosh. That was an AMAZING meal! The Fitness Bowl is to die for, and at the coffee takeaway slot they had small offcuts of cakes and muffins that you could take - just PERFECT for finishing a meal for that little taste of indulgence! I have been here before but I'll definitely will be making the trip for the Fitness Bowl again - who said healthy food is boring? Sooo tasty!

My absolute favourite spot for brunch in the area. Food tastes home cooked like your nona made it; flavoursome and made with love. And the vibes are immaculate because the staff are so welcoming and lovely!

Incredibly nice owner that cares for her customers well, and an amazing berry muffin for the cherry on top:).

Staff were truly wonderful. Shared a late lunch with my daughter at the staff helped make it a lovely day. Even a free drink given. We will be back.

Garbage coffee, overpriced food, pretentious owner who treats her staff like s&$t, a total waste of time. Don’t believe the hype.

Fez is by far the best cafe around Annandale / Camperdown - great coffee, delicious options on the menu with a buzzing, beautiful ambience. Suzanne is a wonderful host and takes care of everyone! Highly recommend!

This is a place that I frequent but the service we received on Friday was appalling. We were given a menu then forgotten about. We went inside to get a waitress to take our order. 50 mins later no coffee or juice and no salad and chips. My husband went in to check and was told it’s on its way but it wasn’t. I went in to check and it hadn’t been put into the system. The thing that annoyed me was we watch one of the waitresses go out and kiss her partner three times and yet we sat there ignored. The service needs drastic improvement as there is a lot of choice in Annandale and Forest Lodge. Really disappointed

Good coffee and nice atmosphere. Food is good on paper but doesn't quite deliver, slow service on weekends.

I would like to shine the light on the beautiful, charming Suzanne at Fez. I've lived on & off in Annandale since the late 80's & have witnessed many cafe come & go, there is a lot of competition in the area but I feel with Suzanne at the helm of Fez, it can only advance in a upward trend. I recently ordered the Middle Eastern platter filled with delicious food & dips. The coffee is always hot, promptly served & just how I like it.
I see she even made the cover of the Inner West flyer standing next the Albo no less, clever girl, well done.

Today was one of those last minute 'let's have lunch' moments. We opted for somewhere nearby and our friend brought us here.

I was absolutely blown away by the friendliness of Fez, who did everything right. This is how a cafe/restaurant owner should be: involved and caring about her customers, taking the time to ask "What's your name". I watched her buzz around chatting with customers and being genuinely interested. "Feed the ego as well as the apetite". Perfection, in my opinion.

The specials (there were 4 or 5 of them) all sounded amazing, so I decided to be 'surprised' and let Fez decide my fate. My dish was spectacularly tasty and the portions were generous.

SERVICE:
Fez was outstanding. She really took care of us. The other crew in front of house were not as chatty, but were efficient and professional. The service was speedy. We didn't have to wait long at all, and it wasn't too fast either, leaving us time to enjoy the company of friends without feeling rushed. I especially liked that we were asked for coffees just as we finished our meals. Great timing!

FOOD:
Exceptional. I dont' eat Middle Eastern food very often, and I was very impressed. Very tasty and plenty of it!
When everything sounds and looks nice, I usually let them choose for me (surprise me). It's the best way to learn, as I would otherwise revert to something 'safe'. We all had the specials and they were delicious.

ATMOSPHERE:
This was very pleasant. It's not a warm or cold day, and inside the cafe was a very nice temperature. It was busy, but the acoustics are very good, so we could easily chat and hear everyone, without yelling. A nice and happy atmosphere.

CLEANLINESS:
Top marks. Very clean. I did not use the bathrooms, so I cannot comment on that. Our table was clean (not sticky) and all the cutlery and glasses were spotless. However, the menus were old and dirty though, which I didn't like. Always feels icky to handle a grubby and frayed and old menu, before handling your food.

PRICE:
Not cheap, but not expensive either. This place offers table service (taking orders as well as bringing the food), and considering the price you pay at a fast food joint of food court, this is only a few dollars more, and you get the full service experience, with excellently cooked meal. I would say this place is very good value.

RECOMMENDATION:
Yes, I would recommend Fez & Co. Say hi to Fez when you see her, or ask for her. Don't be shy, she certainly isn't! I will be back when I am in the area. See you soon Fez!

Great place to eat, friendly staff quick service and really nice $15 meals if your a tradie get into it

The best cafe in Annandale and my friends from different area always request me to go Fez & Co whenever they see me.
Coffee and food are all high quality. Also their customer service is the best!
My favourite is definitely Fez breakfast in the pic. All must try middle eastern tastes are on one plate:)

One of very few cafes in sydney charging $6.50 for a large soy flat white. Everywhere else is $5.50 and with the good milks too.
They get an extra star for having some decent savoury takeaway options under $10.

The owner Suzanne is so lovely & sweet, not to mention the food is ultra delicious. 10/10 (-:

Great food, great coffee & great service. Suzanne & the team from Fez are always fabulous. I don't mind paying the surcharge on weekends as I don't expect quality staff to work for peanuts.
