Fairlight Tidal Swimming Pool reviews
18Lovely ocean pool. Not terribly busy and has outdoor showers and toilets. Obviously not as solid on amenity as other pills, but that's the flip side of not being packed with people!
Nice spot for a swim. Toilets and showers available. Good places nearby for a picnic lunch or quiet afternoon drink. Great view
Gorgeous little beach tucked quietly away. Wonderful ocean pool. Far from the noise and annoys of other beaches. A new favourite of mine
My favourite tidal pool, not too crowded at this beach but parking can be difficult. There's restrooms and a change room available. This is along the Manly to Spit walk. One of many gorgeous little beaches.
Favourite ocean pool in the northern beaches, perfect for morning or evening laps. Look out for the octopus. Toilets and showers are well kept and clean.
Delightful place. Paddling pool and rocks for small children as well as swimming for all. How lucky we are on the Northern Beaches.
Good place for laps in a rockpool or swim on a harbour Fairlight beach. Nice, short walk from Manly Warf but likely less busy than other Manly Beaches
What a delight! I've swum here twice this month. I hear it was recently drained out and cleaned a couple of weeks ago so I haven't experienced the algae mentioned in another review. The water is nice, clean and clear and there were plenty of fish to see. Even saw a 50 ish cm one! Pool depth varies from around 1.2m on one side to around 2m on the oceam end, however this could vary depending on the tide. The floor is rock and sand, not much seaweed. The water is very cold though so you will definitely want a warm hoodie for afterwards. Free pool, easy parking on the street, shower and toilet facilities, what more could you ask for
Superb harbour beach for very young kids. If you don't have kids, there are plenty of other beach options.
A great little Sydney secret. Walk along foreshore to Forty Baskets Beach. A great walk. Take lunch, water & friend. 8 Kilometers return trip. On the way back, have a dip in Fairlight Tidal Pool with a beaut view of Sydney Heads. A quiet private place. Toilets nearby.
Has a great serving purpose for the locals of Fairlight. Such convenience to a pool. Good times.
Great pool for a swim. Best to avoid if large swell running through the heads. Can turn into a washing machine.
Such a beautiful part of Manly. Love walking around here in the evening and having a swim after work
Nice spot for a picnic and also to spot the scuba divers coming out of the water. The pool is fairly big.
So cool. Didn't have a chance to dive in because it's winter but definetley will be back when it's hot out. Neatly tucked away from the crowds of the wharf
Tidal pool is a bit slimy and unkempt. Has some shade and a safe spot for your belongings. Right next to public restroom too!
One of the most picturesque places in the world. Don't come here leave it to us selfish locals.
A hidden gem. Sydney has many ocean pools. This is a rare Sydney Harbour based pool situated 8 minutes from Manly Ward.
