This is what Gold Class Customer Service looks like! The after service response from Scott and Courtney was amazing! We had our carpet installed a few years ago (by the previous business owners NOT Scott) and these guys were professional and courteous about the warranty/workmanship. I was really worried it may be a hassle and they made it easier than easy! Would definitely recommend and would go back in future for flooring if it comes up! Thank you

We found them to be by far the cheapest on the coast with excellent quality on all floorings. The work was outstanding and would highly recommend them. The staff had answers to all questions and was able to inform us of the different grades of flooring and the durability. We were always informed with the progress of stock to installation. I don’t often write reviews but I have been so impressed with the professional service we received from Empire Floor Coverings that I felt the need to review.

We had been looking for carpets for a month and found one we really liked in Erina, but the vendor wasn’t particularly helpful and gave us a very expensive quote. We had been recommended to try Empire Floor Coverings so we went and saw them. Courtney was very friendly and we explained what we were after, she told us that Scott knew all the carpet manufacturers and their products and that he may be able to help us source the carpet that we described to her. Within a day or so Scott came around with a sample of the exact carpet we were after. This guy knows his carpets! They gave us a fantastic price and to help me with the logistics of painting rooms and storing furniture etc they happily agreed to split the job and do two trips to install with a gap of about 6 weeks. They came on the days we agreed so for both installations were on time. Scott did a lovely job and left no mess. What was particularly impressive was that on the day of the last install Scotts van broke down so he hired another so as not to let us down. I cannot recommend this business highly enough. Their service was nothing short of exemplorary.

Charged us to install new transition trims in quote. They never installed them and rough job with carpet install heaps of lumps under new carpet, Probably ok for rental.

Surprisingly low prices for efficient, immaculate installation. Will definitely go to them again for any flooring services

Prices were very good and staff was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, our sheet vinyl installation (which looks awesome & good quality) needed extra help to get rid of bubbles (which was done promptly and at no extra cost, thank you), but there is still one that persists and its smack bang in the middle on the house. No follow up and I haven't bothered, just because I don't have the energy and I have doubts it can be fixed. Sometimes hard to reach by phone too. I may end up trying something myself. The other issue we had is communication with the installers: we weren't impressed that it turned into a 2 day job without us knowing, and they left the keys to the house right outside the front door (new house, no one living there). Nothing bad happened but we would've given better instructions as to where to leave them had we known.

This company is absolutely disgraceful. Both Kirk and his wife are manipulative and don't take ownership for their mistakes. Looking at previous reviews on this page, I wish I read them before my 83 year old Grandmother spent the last of her savings to have new carpet in her home.
Not only was the wrong colour was put in, and both Kirk and his wife refused to admit that they were at fault and have tried to turn it around and make it my Grandmothers fault.
After trying for several days to get a hold of him, kirk finally came back to the house and we asked him to show us the samples we originally looked at.and surprise surprise! The number 120 that we chose and which was clearly stated on our work order and invoice was nowhere to be seen!
He then insists that we chose a completely different one to the 120 AND the one he installed.but still wont take responsibility for this.

We will be looking to take further action against this joke of a company.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE
Their prices may seem cheap but you certainly get what you pay for!
We were told by Factory Direct carpets the job was completed and were sent the invoice for the ‘completed’ job.
Two days later we sent cleaners to our house.
Being our investment property, we have a secure place where trades would leave the key, however the cowboys has taken the key with them! Leaving our cleaners locked out for a couple of hours while these idiots tried to find out where our keys had gone!

After this dilemma you’d think we’ve experienced everything. We had found cuts in the skirting boards where these cowboys had laid the surface vinyl

In a calm manner we expressed that we were not happy with their products. Immediately Kirk began verbally abusing me ‘you’re not listening and our policy is if you’re not happy we’ll remove the flooring’

We refused to pay the rest of the balance until the defects were fixed and simply though Kirk was bluffing

No word of a lie, the business we entrusted with the keys to our investment property were taken ransom until payment was made WITHOUT fixing the defects

Kirk is unprofessional, sly, underhanded and always believes the customer is wrong. He will not listen to your complaints

Fair trading has launched an investigation into their unethical business practices.
I hope after reading this you won’t have to go through what we have been though.
Go elsewhere and save yourself the hassle
