I had planned a belated birthday/ Christmas Day for my friend. She is on her own raising 2 kids and needed some pampering. I made the booking and looked at the reviews and called to enquire about a double appointment at the same time to get facials together and do our nails and made sure they knew it was a special appointment for my friend. I was ushered into a room first thinking that my friend was joining me soon. After half an hour I asked if my friend was in the next room and if her facial had started. The lady looking after me went to see what was taking the other beautician a long time as my friend had not yet entered the treatment room. A few more minutes passed and the lady came back and said that my friend had walked out and left. I called my friend and she was very upset and embarrassed because they did not communicate with her on why it was taking a long time. She felt uncomfortable because almost an hour had passed and we were suppose to be doing our facials together at the same time. She was asked to sit and wait with no explanation and no regard to the special appointment made especially for her. She should have been treated like a queen. I was horrified and felt awful for my friend. I stopped the facial half way and walked out to be with my friend. On a day that was supposed to be a special gift for my friend ended up leaving her feeling hurt and awkward. I was very upset and disappointed. I work in the medical/ beauty industry and communication and organisation for a professional and reputable business. Our day was ruined. This business has been around for over 30 years and known in their community. The lady looking after me was part owner. I don’t want to give them a bad wrap but if they read this review, I hope that the owners can take it as constructive criticism and improve their business in these areas where, unfortunately, they lacked on this day. I would have become a regular otherwise. I have found another Spa and took my friend there and loved it so much that I took my husband there twice already.

Love the ladies at Face Affair who always look after me whether it’s waxing, facial, pedicure or manicure. Feel pampered after every appointment!

My beauty therapist double-dipped during a wax - using one wooden spatula only for hard wax (dipping it back into the pot after using on me) and a reusable metal one for strip wax. Super unhygenic. Will never return.

In all of my years attending beautician services this hands down is the best. The service, products and vibe of Face affair has me running to return. So have also taken my teenage son who has acne issues and his face is glowing after a few treatments. Do yourself a favour book now!

Arrived close to closing. Asked the ladies if I could “please add a pedicure to my spray tan appointment? ”. The lovely owner bent over backwards to accommodate my request and did my pedi herself, what a sweetheart she is too! My pedi and spray tan both looked great and lasted well. Thanks Face Affair for helping this busy mum with some ‘me time’ you have a new customer!

Have been going to gina and her girls forever and they provide nothing but the very best service and they give beauty therapy a good good name

I have all my treatments here. The ladies are perfectionists and the salon is like my second home. SNS for nails, pedicures, waxing and facials are all wonderful. I highly recommend Face Affair.

It's my first visit. The service is great, but not that profession of facial and hot stone body treatment. I didn't feel relex and disappointed with the over price set.

Great experience, lovely and friendly people, I had a spray tan, 2 hour techno tan, very happy with results nice even golden colour.

I just love this Salon! Kerrie is amazing with her eyes for details and care. I think I’d make Face Affair my go to from now on.

One of the most disappointing spa experience
It was my 1st time at Face Affair and I've booked myself for a facial. I will save your time by telling you just the key points what made me make such a bold statement above.

Let's start by saying that i was overcharged by $45! Compeer to the advertised price on the website without any explanation given. My bad for not looking into it further at the time when the therapist was rushing to finish for the day and to get out of the door (booking was well within operating hrs of the spa)

For the most part of my treatment i was left alone, in a very cold room (!) with my therapist outside talking on the phone and then to her friend (?) /coworker and packing up for the day
there was no music and as a result i was fours to eavesdropping

this treatment did not include any form or massage in it (at all!)

And the last but not list I have advised to my therapist that I have very sensitive skin and was recommended vitamin infusion facia that included chemical peal to which i believe i have had very strong reaction and had a red spots all over my face for a week

I had a spray tan with Denise for the first time and not once was I uncomfortable or felt awkward. Denise has such a warm and friendly personality that you just instantly trust her. The colour she picked for me was great. I told her natural and she picked a great tan. She was brilliant. Highly recommend Face Affair and will definitely try their other services.

I am very particular about hygiene and cleanliness when I visit any beauty salon. Face Affair Day Spa is one of the very few beauty salons I have visited in Sydney that maintain high level of hygiene. I love to come here often.
