Faber homes did an amazing tiling job for us! They totally transformed our bedroom and hallway, making it look luxurious and modern. The flow from the hallway to the ensuite and bedroom, including the walk-in wardrobe, is just perfect! It’s those little touches and great finishes that make all the difference to the end result, and having them work the house was such really easy. A fantastic renovation experience! We just completed a kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovation with Fabio and his team. The whole process was as good as it gets - on time, on budget, and great quality workmanship. I was so happy I have already put him in touch with a number of friends and family.

A few things set Fabio and his team apart.

Firstly, his communication was great. At all stages, I felt like I was being included in the process - I would receive multiple video and photo updates throughout the week. If Fabio had a question or an issue arose, he’d be in touch straight away with options and was always available for a discussion. I hear so many stories of people feeling locked out of their own build by their builders, but with Fabio I was included at every step.

He was accommodating of design changes and additional elements being added to the project. When we decided to re-sheet and insulate two bedrooms - which was not part of the original scope - Fabio was happy to help and quick to quote for additional work.

He was also very collaborative. One element of our build involved a tricky reworking of a small laundry to accommodate a second shower and toilet. Because of the small space, getting everything in just the right layout was important. Fabio was happy to listen to my ideas (for hours) and rework the configuration to nail it.

He was open and transparent. If there needed to be a variation to the original quote (for instance, we requested additional kitchen cabinetry), he was completely up front about what the cost variation would be, so I was never surprised by additional charges.

Finally, the work was great. Fabio’s own workmanship is superb, and he has high expectations of his subcontractors too, which they obviously respect.

Ten out of ten! I would recommend Faber Homes to anyone considering a kitchen, bathroom or general renovation.

We hired Fabio and his team for a full bathroom renovation in our granny flat. From the outset we were very impressed by the professionalism and great communication of Fabio and his team. Fabio and his colleagues were wonderful. They were professional and thorough in the renovations they did and made sure that everything was perfect before they finished. I was very happy with the price and the way in which Fabio was able to break down the payments. In all, EXCELLENT!

Fabio recently did a full renovation of my mum's unit in Neutral Bay including complete replacement and re-levelling of all floors and tiling, moving doors and stud walls, new double glazed windows and balcony doors, brand new kitchen and bathroom and new electrical and lighting throughout. The end result looks amazing and my mum absolutely loves it. Fabio was fantastic to deal with. He was fully upfront with all costs and there were no unexpected or unjustified variations. He was very responsive and accommodated all our requests where possible and he consistently worked with us to get the result we wanted. Despite the difficult construction environment with supply and labour issues he was able to deliver the unit to us within our required timeframes. Overall Fabio is friendly, trustworthy and easy to deal with. We would highly recommend him for any similar renovation jobs.

Like all people, we all do make mistakes. Fabio had accidentally damaged our car mirror when driving himself. Instead of leaving it, he actively sought for us. He was very apologetic when he got into contact with us. What would have normally been a stressful situation, was instead taken care of smoothly by Fabio; offering to pay for all expenses to repair the damage. Although not a direct review on his services, it is worth sharing Fabio's considerate attitude which I am sure translates into his work.

Fabio did a first rate job renovating my mother's small apartment. He was patient with us as we worked through the design phase. He and his onsite workers were well mannered and considerate. We inspected the renovation at various milestones and we were very happy with the quality of the workmanship. Fabio communicated with us regulary and followed up on queries promptly. His attention to detail is very good and whilst we needed a good functioning apartment sometimes the small things matter too. He does the small things.
