I have been going here for years and the service here is really hit and miss. I agree with the reviews about the old grumpy guy (I'm guessing this is 'Harry'). He has been consistently avoided like the plague. Don't ask him any questions at all unless you want stupid, useless answers coupled with being treated like you're an absolute idiot for asking. To date, I've never bothered leaving a review as the shorter older lady with short hair and glasses has been quite pleasant and mostly helpful. Today's experience, however, moved me to finally leave a review. The acne faced, unattractive girl there with glasses needs a serious lesson in customer service and a severe attitude adjustment. I can only assume by her horrendous lack of basic manners and narky demeanour that she's either the daughter or a relative of the owner who is clearly unhappy with her own miserable life. I spent less than 5 minutes in there, asked 2 basic questions and was ready to spend however she was so blatantly rude, I walked out. Perhaps the store knows it has a monopoly in the area and could really care less about customer retention. You've definitely lost one today and I would recommend you all shop elsewhere.

A great range of badminton, tennis and table tennis products. Very friendly staff members with wide range and expertised knowledge that make sure you will find the right and most suitable equipment. Def recommend for newbies looking for first time equipments

Service and knowledge is average especially if you end up with harry. Most restringing is done by inexperienced people but the cost is above average.

The store is quite small so the selection can be limited, but they offer gear for badminton, tennis and ping pong. Otherwise, there’s great customer service - they make sure everyone is attended to and they are really knowledgeable. They really helped me navigate the process of finding a racquet that was suited to me.

Best place for badminton gear, highly recommend but the re-stock are slow and unfortunately there was no victor gears

New to the sport of badminton, went looking for shoes
Went on a Monday, had a trainee serve me, a more experienced lady was coaching the young trainee

They were both very professional, from the way the lady was coaching the young man, she was very patient with the trainee whilst also was able to provide me all the answers I was looking for

They did not try to push a sale or recommend anything that was higher than my budget and even offered a better pair of shoes at the same price

She trained the young man well, whilst also provided me what I needed. I went home happy that day

So helpful staff that was the main reason I bought my badminton shoes there.

Short-handed, when someone told me a week's wait for restringing a tennis racquet, I expected a decent job which is not the case. For my 2 racquets, I specifically mentioned main and cross need different tension, four knots, but they finished with 2 knots! When I questioned them, they said it depends on your racquet, some racquets cannot do 4 knots. Why other places can easily finish with 4 knots but this place just made a bad excuse for not doing their job properly.

I bought a Yonex badminton racquet here, customer service is professional and the team give helpful advice and are knowledgeable, waiting times can be long as it's a popular place but overall was a good experience.

Best spot for quality racquet sport equipment in the Ryde area. I go here for my badminton needs. Standard retail prices not too heavy on discounts. However, each purchase is coupled with quality advise and suggestions by the staff that's pretty knowledgeable. Each member has their own style of communicating. Long wait times for services like restringing, expected as the place is popular.

If you play badminton, tennis, table tennis (not sure about squash), this store is for you; you can find shoes, racquets, restringing, shuttles/balls all in this store which focuses on these sports compared to other sports stores that might focus on soccer/basketball.

Courteous and excellent customer service. Went out of the way to help me for a quick repair. Call and book before you go as they are always busy.:)

They ship out expensive equipment without requiring for signatures when delivering. Now my parcel has lost for months and they refused to offer and refund or compensations. Very irresponsible dealers.
