As a small business in the Real Estate Industry with a very long history, our day to day business processes were stuck in the stone age, in 2019 we still paid our employees and suppliers by cheque! Until Single Touch Payroll came and we were forced to review our accounting and business processes. So we ended up at a MYOB course in the city and we met Paolo from Evolution Cloud Accounting. During the time in the classroom, we quickly realised we could do so much more with MYOB, but needed someone to hold our hand. We engaged Evolution Cloud Accounting to help us upgrade our current software to Single Touch Payroll. However upon an initial review, they advised towards a new cloud file implementation. After a presentation we decided on Xero. We were immediately impressed by the way this business approached the project. We spent the first day in a meeting discussing business and reporting requirements, so that Xero could be tailored to how we wanted to track the cost and revenue of our business. With their help and training, they helped us manage a number of tasks originally tracked on spreadsheet and moved them directly to Xero. We liked the fact that the majority of the training was conducted face to face at our site. The results? We are now fully cloud based with Xero, Hubdoc and looking to integrate ProCore (Job management system) with Xero in early 2020. Evolution Cloud Accounting helped us understand the difference between an accounting system and a fully functional business solution that can help us drive our business forward. We have quarterly meetings with them and they now take care of our quarterly reconciliation and Activity Statements. We now have the peace of mind of knowing we are always on the right track. We engaged Evolution Cloud Accounting to help us with our Payroll set-up requirements. Working for an international organisation as the British Council we had some very specialised needs. Our general accounting is managed by large SAP software, however we needed Payroll set up for our Australian based staff. Evolution Cloud Accounting set up our payroll in MYOB AccountRight Live and subsequently helped us with upgrading to Single Touch Payroll. They also take care of our End of Payroll year tasks every year in June. With relation to End of Payroll year, last year we had particular curly situation with an employee who had been transferred overseas and we were not sure how to correctly report her salary. Evolution Cloud Accounting went the extra mile to investigate on the matter and even liaised with our international consultants. This just shows how much they care about doing the right thing for their clients. Whether you are a small business or medium size these guys put the same level of passion and dedication. We are a small company in the Building and Construction industry. After a terrible experience with our previous bookkeeper which made our MYOB file a complete mess, we originally decided to take our bookkeeping in-house. However, we needed a professional company to help us clean up the mess and put us on the right track. This is when we came across Evolution Cloud Accounting. After a preliminary phone meeting, we were advised to start a new accounting file. This is where we immediately noticed the difference between our previous bookkeeper and a professional business: we never saw or discussed anything with our previous bookkeeper, Evolution Cloud Accounting set up a “scoping appointment” on site to understand our business, our goals and our requirements. We spent the entire day discussing options so they could choose and build the best solutions for our company. They set up a new Xero file and then started to train us on how to use it. By then we decided to take onboard their bookkeeping and BAS services. After the initial set up and consulting with Paolo, Greg now takes care of our receivable, payable and payroll. They are so scrupulous with paperwork and have helped us introducing a full paperless system by setting up Hubdoc Receipt management which integrates with Xero. As well as ensuring that are accounts are recorded correctly, they always make a point to involve us in the process: weekly meetings and plenty of advice on how to be compliant and how to improve areas of the business.
