Earlier this year I purchased a property in Wentworthville. Robert Thompson and I agreed to a price that was underneath what the owners wanted. I was told by my solicitor to not put down a deposit as Rob Thompson would need to provide Strata Reports and paper work. I asked Rob for the documents and this lead to excuses, which were not true. He told me that he doesn't have the documents despite being the vendor.

From there Robert began to blackmail me into putting a deposit. Making statements like if you don't put the money in today I'm going to sell it to someone else. I was firm and told him that I would prefer to wait for the documents. He got very aggressive with me and from the advice from my lawyer, he said put the deposit down and we will use the cooling off period to get the documents. We did and eventually got the documents; however, it was scary committing to something with no legal documentation.

From there the bank and lawyers did their job but Robert Thompson did not cooperate with us. He told the lawyer that I did not put down a 20% deposit which meant we had to push back settlement. I did put down 20% and had the bank transaction to prove it. He told the tenants the wrong date for leaving. Settlement was the 1st and he told the tenants it was the 5th. Part of the agreement was vacant possession upon purchase and this caused settlement to be pushed back again.

As a purchaser I am entitled to a final inspection of the property. Rob Rhompson refused that right for me as he said he did not have keys to the property. This was a flat out lie. He is the vendor and is required to have a set of keys. We inspected the property twice and we got into the building with a set of keys.

I then had to inform Rob Thompson that I would be getting the police involved as it is illegal to hold my property. Within half an hour I get a phone call saying the keys magically appeared and the tenants left the door to my apartment wide open. I said how did you get into the building if you didn't have a set of keys? He told me someone let him in. I doubt this is true.

From there I got my final inspection. He berated me and said a lot of people are not happy with me because I bought the property for under what it is worth. I told him Rob, you were the one who sold the property, you were the one who agreed to the price. Not my problem.

I still had issues with the keys, I was not given access to the garage and Rob said it was possible that the previous tenants had left behind their possessions. We had to delay settlement again.

Settlement cleared and I went to speak to Rob to get my keys. He told me that he did not have keys to the garage. He was supposedly getting them recut? And that I should take the ones that I have now and he will dump the key in my mailbox. I told him I did not feel comfortable with this. I asked him not to but he did it anyway.

I have been renting a property through Rob & Brooke since end of last years and they have been fantastic from the day dot.
Rob was very easy to work with friendly and very attentive, had to get couple of things fixed and he organised everything pretty quick.
I was really sad when I heard another real-estate has taken over the property.

Everything Realty failed to do in 3+ weeks what Jupiter Realty did in less than 24hrs (3 ACTUAL applications!) - which makes me question their commitment and ability to manage and lease properties.
When I went to pick up the keys Rob blamed the property's single bathroom. To make matters worse the FOB key was broken and another set of keys went missing. They didn't bother charging the tenants for the broken key, and of course Rob found a way to blame an ex employee.
Too many excuses - not enough solutions.

Excellent service friendly staff good attitude and they know what they are doing and there stuff. Rental properties are generally good. Advice on property market is exceptionally good and well thought out.

I am a first home buyer and enquired about a property, I asked to be e-mailed as I work 7 days a week (explaining this in my enquiry), the 'principal' Robert Thomson was very rude and replied to my e-mail saying ''if you are really a serious buyer you would call me''.

I work 2 jobs to look after my elderly parents and to also save money for my first home I had a simple request, it isn't hard to be a good person and professional this man is obviously neither of them.

I would highly recommend the Real Estate. Robert was always professional and funny and really easy to deal with. He worked very hard to sell our property and had a great outcome for us even while dealing with hard times due to Covid 19.
Robert went above and beyond and made selling our property easy and stress free. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Very Poor experience with this agent. They do not respond to enquiry from buyers but spam your email with irrelevant advertising.
