Eternity Playhouse reviews
17As a theatre, Eternity Playhouse provides an intimate and palpable atmosphere that amplifies the performances that are happening in front of you. The staff were kind and helpful, with services that were convenient and beneficial for those who love to socialise pre and post-session.
Wonderful renovated theatre. Seats around 200 in stepped curve arrangement, all uninterrupted and clear viewing. Good bar and light food for pre show or interval. Varied seating areas in lobby.
Great set up with Irish team bar. Play was outstanding. One of the best plays I've ever seen.and I've seen a few. Great vocals, incredible musician
A small theatre that has all the modern conveniences but with that old school charm.
A little difficult to get to for those on public transport but worth the effort for a show or event.
The staff were lovely and the seats were comfortable. I'd make the effort to get to Oxford St again.
Last night i went to see ‘Once’ at this wonderful theatre. The play had been postponed since hmm, two years ago. It was sooo well done and beautifully crafted. I could easily see it again. As a long ago resident of Darlinghurst i was very happy to see this old church restored and used as something really worth while. I fondly remember the church's own slogan ‘Jesus is Coming’ to which in 1983 someone had added ‘Better Wear a Raincoat’.
If I could give them a minus score I would.arrogant staff.horrible experience.never go back.don’t waste your money
Error on site caused a payment with the tickets NOT provided. They do not answer their phone or reply to emails. Waiting on a refund for 4 weeks now with no assurances in sight. Had to write a complaint to fair trading as well as report the transaction with my bank. Very unprofessional and frustrating dealing with them.
Awesome location, great shows. Staff are friendly and the theatre is clean and well maintained. The only thing negative I can comment on is the heat, they need more air conditioning in the foyer, bar and restaurant area. It gets very hot. Overall experience though was very good.
Amazing show and amazingly beautiful theatre. The staff were delightful, the cast extraordinary, and the atmosphere of this theatre is so charming. The show quality was excellent, and not a hitch to be seen. I bought another 2 tickets to see the show again, it was that good! Highly recommend this place- book something here now!
Great play Small Mouth Sounds. A very sassy play with minimal words. Very funny, and with a wonderful, albeit flu struck, guru
Initmate theatre, lovely building, and the 'orange and ginger duck' at the in-house Two Trout Restaurant was the best duck I've ever eaten.
Show was good. Staff pushy. I was waiting for the exit door to empty before walking about but staff rudly told me to leave immediately
The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. A night of stunning theatre. Caroline O'Connor and Geraldine Hakewill's performances are outstanding! Great performances by the whole cast.
Fantastic plays and a boys it it's a bit of a climb into the theater and pricy drinks but overall worth it
Saw a fantastic play, The Torchlight Trilogy, here the other night. It was a wonderful venue and a fantastic show, would definitely return!
Staff are very friendly and efficiently in booking tickets. The place was fabulous, very comfortable and the play was just lovely
Very tastefully decorated building with great positioning of bar and box office. Very comfortable seating with all seats having a good view to the stage and ample legroom. I love how they allow you to take one drink into the theatre with you. Was there to see the first preview of a play: The Sound of Waiting.
