Estephan's Mechanical Repairs

I've been going to Tony at Estephan's for many years and always been 100% happy with this honest, competent motor vehicle repair and servicing business. About due to go again and decided to give a review as there were so few. People tend to review work done only when there are problems rather than excellence. A woman often has to be more wary of mechanical services, but with Tony you can relax in the knowledge that he'll do a good job and you won't be overcharged.

This guy know nothing about cars with new technologies. Also he charged much more than the brand dealer service centre. Bye for ever.

Don't take your car here, this guy has cost me a fortune. Spent thousands taking constantly taking my car back to him, with him saying "oh, it looks like the problems gone to the next weakest point". At the same time as he was fixing that, i had him fix my timing belt. A couple weeks later the timing belt went, so i took it back to him thinking it would be covered under warranty and he said it was the timing belt bearings which have blown, (which is not covered under warranty) so now he said i had to replace the whole engine.

On top of that he goes and puts in an engine that needs to have the timing belt replaced on it.so he wanted to create MORE work for himself.

It was convenient for me because he was so close to where i lived but I'll never go back him again. I'd advice everyone to stay clear of this bloke.

Pretty disappointed with this place. Got charged over a grand for work on the car and a blue slip a couple of months ago, within a month the car had to be scrapped.
Took it to a real mechanic who informed me it was one of the unsafest cars on the road, should not have passed inspection and the bloke who passed it should lose his licence. Stoked to thrown away a grand for a month of issues.

Yeah right-o mate, pretend all you like but you ripped me off and let me drive out with a dangerous unsafe car. A REAL mechanic a month later wouldn’t just make this stuff up. I can take this further if you like, get the report/receipt/blue slip from you and the report from the nrma mechanic, make it all public.

Was available for same day servicing, upfront about the cost, no suprises and we felt like he was pretty honest and trustworthy. Thanks Tony, we’ll be back.
