Erina Ice Arena reviews
43By far the best rink I have been to between Sydney and Newcastle. Multiple big and clean party rooms, 2 change rooms with hot showers, washroom with hot water out of the tap so you don't freeze your fingers when you go back out on the ice. Great snacks and food options at the cafe.
Unwelcoming behaviour to paying customers, egoistic manager with no mannerisms to speak of. Never returning to this establishment. Just, wow.
Visited Erina Ice Arena with my kids and it was very fun. The rink was a good size and the ice was well maintained.
I had a ball here but unfortunately I fractured my knee while skating, not their fault but just a warning for anyone who gets too cocky on the ice
A great place to spend a few hours, people of all skill levels welcome and friendly staff that will happily help the inexperienced. The best part, however, is Cutting Edge Cafe located in there. The service is great and the food is fantastic. The quality of food and coffee is better than that of the cafes operating in the shopping centre.
Our 2 families of 4 adults and 6 kids had the best time at this Ice Skating Arena which we used for the first time. All of our boys had never ice skated before and were aged between 4 and 8 years old. Their is a wonderful Supervisor Kalarni that works there and both her professionalism and caring nature helped us to give the kids such a great experience. Thank you Kalarni!
Great place but i would make sure younge kids have lessons as you could easily cut someones finger off
A Great environment and very friendly staff.
My children are learning to ice skate to play ice hockey and love it. Adele is a wonderful teacher.
My daughter learns figure-skating here and loves it! She is now also doing Synchronised Skating.
Amazing coffee and food at the Cutting Edge Cafe too! I recommend that you try Rowena's lemon slice.it's to die for!
Haven't been here in years till on tuesday I returned back & had a friendly & warm welcoming by the staff member at the ticketing booth & the people who work at the skates hire booth was very fun for the hour I was there and worth every penny spent.
Superb service. Friendly and helpful. Classes are also very welcoming. Icerink is accessible through the Erina fair shopping centre carpark and the family outdoor plaza. Love it! What a change from the old centre - well done to all involved what a dream to have such a fantastic icerink back on the central coast
With a change of management came a breath of fresh air which has enabled the Erina Ice Arena to become a fun and enjoyable place to go skating. This has led to improved customer experience, especially regarding the fitting of Hockey boots.
Cutting edge Cafe.
Great friendly service and food (chips) cooked to order.
The chips were first rate. A more than ample serving for the $8 cost. The outside colour was a beautiful golden yellow, akin to the hue of sunflowers or ripe lemons. A beautiful crisp exterior encapsulated a fluffy textured centre.
The chips were accompanied by a delicious gravy ($1) with notes of fine seasoning and a perfect viscosity for dipping aforementioned chips.
What an absolute treat!
My 7 year old had fun at his first ice skating venture however I wasn't impressed that my 2 year old had to miss out coz staff weren't monitoring the seal skating aids properly. I watched teenagers using them, and it didn't matter how many times I mentioned to staff about the seal for my daughter it was virtually ignored. Why bother having a ticket system and paying for the seal aids if staff don't do their jobs properly?
We had the privilege of taking our grandson for his 1st ice experience. The staff were incredibly helpful, including organising a class for him when his excitement changed from wanting to just looking to learning. I'm wheelchair bound for more than short walks and the staff went out of their way to enable us to observe the little guy - they weren't asked, they saw our challenge and addressed it in all kindness. I know our grandson will be back - his smile tells all and our experience made it a wonderful afternoon
The new management is so much better and friendly than the one that was there before.
The figure skating coaches are really good and the canteen has the best rink food and coffee in NSW. They are also bringing back an ice hockey club to the rink.
New management seem to have created a much better environment and facility now that it has re-opened. Food remains over-priced however.
I highly recommend Erina ice skating rink. Great food for a great cost. Lovely staff and very helpful and kind as I had lost a few items and one of the staff members her name is Christine has been keeping in contact and been so lovely about it. Besides that fact the ice skating is amazing there especially on Saturday nights for the disco session. Great for value and if you don't know where to go for ice skating go to Erina. Also is nice and clean as well as the toilets Nice and big too.
Thankyou too the lady that taught the kids for a good five mins each they learnt heaps! I can't believe I never knew this place existed.
Amazing job at refurbishing the rink, service is excellent and cafe has awesome coffee. Love the big screen and sound system as well.makes for a very cool disco.
