There is no doubt the passion Steve and his team have and the enormously positive impact TAR3 training will have on us all. This training is life changing! As a Wellbeing teacher at a k-12 school, I found the professional development Coach2cope course AMAzing. It was very valuable and provided fantastic practical, useable tools and strategies to use to support young children. Mental health matters and I believe this course will help make a difference to many young children and teachers.

Coach 2 Cope is a very real and practical approach when supporting young people who are experiencing distress. Steve and his team at EquiEnergy Youth have provided our Special Assistance School with resources and frameworks that we are inspired by and excited to implement. The capacity of staff to connect with and support students in meaningful and respectful ways has been strengthened. I would highly recommend this program to all teachers, support staff and parents.

Being an Ambassador for such a selfless organisation like Equi Energy Youth- Is not only a privilege- but a proud honour that share my passions on saving young lives. This organisation and many others were not around when I needed them- so the future is bright with EEY, and Coach 2 Cope is a program myself has been involved with, and is going to bring MORE education to the educators and the like.

As a writer and i shared my semi fictional story of what I went through was very hard to show your own vulnerability to get others speaking out against such an economic crisis in Australia and in the world we live in know. Providing fabulous Professional Learning to understand and support young people when experiencing periods of distress.

Coach 2 Cope is an excellent program which provides a framework through which to administer mental health first aid. Stephen's practicality, workplace experience, study, and evidenced based strategies all mesh together to provide a structured plan to manage episodes of distress and implement plans to mentor youth so they can better manage distress themselves, leading to empowerment and autonomy, exactly what this course delivers for its participants who work in this challenging yet rewarding sector.

The training and framework delivered by Stephen in our Coach 2 Cope session has significantly built the capacity of our team to respond effectively to the young people we work with. The framework has given us a building block to ensure a consistent approach across our whole organisation, and the confidence to ensure other adults in the young person's network are doing the same. Stephen is engaging, passionate and clearly, incredibly knowledgeable in this field. Highly recommended to anyone crossing paths with young people in any organisation.

I very much enjoyed the COACH2COPE Responder Toolkit PL, both as an educator and a parent. I think after teaching for so long I am already doing a lot, but the PL brought it all together. I have already encouraged my SLSOs and other members of our LST to do the course.

Steve and the team at Equi Energy Youth have positively influenced the staff and community of both the schools I have engaged them to work with. Their expertise and knowledge of childhood trauma is phenomenal, bringing hands on, contextualized examples to reinforce the learning they provide. They not only build knowledge of childhood trauma but provide practical, hands on examples and/or tools to use to support the little people in our settings. The work they are doing and the people they are supporting is assisting the young people to become successful, happy individualised who value add to society. Thank you.
