The prospect of reaching out and initiating relationship counselling, let alone undertaking the process, can be a difficult thought and action for many. Throughout our sessions, we have felt so safe and supported to face our issues and conflict, and been given the tools to address these in an easy, respectful and kind manner. I cannot recommend Julie as an Imago therapist enough. Her professionalism, care and expertise have been invaluable to my husband and I over this past year. She creates a non-judgmental and open space to allow couples to further understand and empathise with one another and find a place of safety in which to communicate. Julie manages to guide and direct the sessions in a way that allows you to dig a bit deeper and come to a place of understanding within your own ‘inner world’, whilst also finding the deep joy of being able to communicate this to your partner and learn about and begin to understand their ‘inner world’ in return. We attended a couples workshop earlier this year. Both Julie and Will know their subject well. I could sense a great deal of careful and considered preparation went into the workshop. Their desire to see relationships empowered to succeed was evident. The support given over the weekend was sensitive, encouraging and made a positive impression.
