Emu Plains Medical Practice reviews
19So good to have a Good medical centre that bulk bills with Good Drs and suitable Hours. Handy to rail and great parking. Wish all Drs had all these benefits.
Basically told today not to come back because they arnt my regular gp. I have been a patient for over 20 years here. I dont get sick every week so my visits are not regular. I come in with 3 kids who are all patients as well, from birth. They were my go to dr due to longer opening hours and being open on weekends and readily available drs. Being the closest practice who bulk bills to the blue mountains travel was the only issue but I still did it because they were good drs. I saw a gp in the blue mountains a couple of times recently to see if they may be my new gp as it was closer, I got a referral to a specialist. Specialist said go to my regular gp and get additional stuff. Now from emu plains medical centre I get told I need to see the other gp from now on. You can't get in to them for 2 weeks and only of a morning which is when I work. So I had no intention of changing to a new gp. I'm so disgusted at having a gp say go see the other gp instead after decades of care all because I saw someone else. What is the point of the nsw government's healthshare if drs refuse to use it to share the care of a patient. All other gps in all other medical centres will accept walk in new patients and will never say go somewhere else.
Looks like it will be the at home dr from now on. At least I won't have to sit in a waiting room for over an hour to see a gp when my kids are sick.
Appalled at the service and treatment they provided my partner at this practice. After he reprimanded staff for the service they provided, he provided a review only to be contacted that he is no longer welcome at this practice. It's hard enough when there aren't enough decent local medical centres around and now, he'll have to travel further into another suburb to seek medical assistance. Rather than being insulted by the review and banning him from your practice you could have taken his feedback as an opportunity in improving provision of better quality of care to your patients. Your communication and systems should be more transparent- rather than allowing patients to sit, wait and assume that they will be next in line, they should have been informed of this information upon arrival at the desk that "regular patients" are given first preference to prevent frustration and disappointment.
This place is not were u want to go today i sat there for a hour and watched others after me walk in but seen 1st. Asked the receptionist fella and his reply back was we see our regulars 1st. I got up and walked out. Stay away from this unprofessional place that has no respect for there clients. 3 days later i get a phone call to inform me i am not allowed back u unprofessional jokers. Will ring medical board and tell all the local community pages of your childish behaviors. U are a joke and the day u sell or close down i will be there to make sure u remember me
Dr Ravi and Dr Sutha are both great doctors and the receptionists are always very friendly. Would definitely recommend these guys!
Dr sutha is useless extremely rude and not helpful in the slightest would definitely recommend going somewhere where there are real doctors not one's that got there certificate off a cornflakes box
Having pain in my back when breathing. Being a new patient, I was turned away. Receptionist was very polite about it and I was polite in return but I imagine the abuse the poor ladies get from that. Not their fault. However it is a Medical Centre. They shouldn't call themselves a medical centre when turning sick people away.
I was refused to see another doctor because of my dissatifaction with the prior doctor i had seen, my mother and i were treated with a form of racism and the reason why we wanted to see a different doctor was to get that second opinion and seek better treatment, we left after 30 mins wait time to be told we were being refused to see the doctor which he based on this comming from the receptionst that the doctor was not comfertable seeing us as we saw his College which was 3 days ago, we cancelled and when to another doctor which informed us the medicaion was incorrect and blindness could occur in both eyes if not treated immediatly, emu plains medical centre should sack both Doctors, Dr. N. Ravimohan and Dr Sutha.they did not honor the oath of do no harm in fact they did harm by being unprofessional and unethical
Worst place dr refused to see me. Told me get out go to your own dr.tried to explain my dr closed he didn't care.
Dr Ravi has been my Dr for 14 years. His service to myself and my family has been exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble and he is kind and courteous. I only see Dr Sutha occasionally, but when I do he is funny and kind. The staff on the front desk are knowledgeable and courteous. I woukd not consider going anywhere else.
I haven’t been there in a while and my original doctors were closed, not a great experience as was told to make sure I had enough medication to get me through, by the way I have cancer but doctor couldn’t care less won’t be going again.
Went in there today as my usual docter is unavailable, was not listened to at all, was told he wouldn't be my docter and basically to go somewhere else, had the receptionist write other medical centers down for me.
I'm so annoyed why have me wait in the first place.
Asked for a mental health plan and was told that the "practice does not do them"
Pretty shameful in this day and age to have this attitude towards mental health.
Dr Sutha is rocking the hair and alittle busy at times but usually does his best. Sometimes abit hard to understand lol. Keep it up champ!
Don’t blame it on the sunshine ️
Drs are very professional and staff are very polite and friendly never known the staff to be any different have attended this practice for the past few years
The medical staff were completely rude and unprofessional. The doctor would cut me off and at one point appeared to be trying to mock me. I'm honestly questioning if that man was a real doctor, just unbelievably inappropriate and unprofessional.
Absolutely amazing. Was there this morning and it was extremely busy and the receptionist went above and beyond to help my daughter. Absolutely amazing!
Very lovely receptionists and the Dr I have always seen there is always nice and knowledgeable, willing to spend the extra time to give me the treatment I need. Have been going there for 6 months now and will continue to.
Staff are friendly and helpful. The doctors are professional, efficient, approachable and friendly. It helps that there is a pathology and pharmacy attached, saves time. I also like that they're open later than other medical centres.
