I had a colour and hair extensions today at Emily Hadrill and I am absolutely over the moon with the result. From my wonderful consultation with Dean to the professionalism and expertise of the amazing Rebecca I knew I was in good hands. Great hands! I can’t recommend Emily Hadrill enough. They really do care and want only the best result! Big thank you to the manager Lucy as well. Love my hair!

I had extensions applied here for the first time yesterday and my experience was nothing short of amazing! The colour match, the quality of the hair, the cut, the service and the whole experience was so pleasant and completely faultless. Would highly recommend and I know I'll be back again.

The staff at Emilly Hadrill Hair in Paddington are incredibly kind and friendly. Specifically, Dean is truly a style genius and always makes my style dreams come to life. He works with my wishes and is able to add his artistic flare to any style I request. Jenny is a brilliant colourist and has such good attention to detail. Get your hair done here! You won’t be disappointed!

The only word to describe Dean is amazing. I’ve never had someone style my hair so well and have it last so long as my hair normally drops within an hour but this lasted all the way through to the next day. I got so many compliments about my hair and I owe it all to Dean!

I have been a big fan and customer of EH for about 2 years and have always had the most amazing hair from both GC & Sydney Salons. It has also always been a relaxing stress free environment so I’ve been very happy to spend thousands of dollars on my hair there to have such a lovely salon experience. I’m not one of the Insta models they only promote, just one of many mature everyday women who frequent EH who have thinning hair (due to various conditions) and prefers to have great hair. But I recently had an unsatisfactory hair cut, colour and hair extension maintenance experience (on brand new $1000 hair) in which I left the salon in a beanie crying after paying $685 for hair maintenance that wasn’t up to its usual high standard due to the salon being very busy and as such the hairdresser very distracted, therefore not paying full attention to the task at hand. Several times I asked the hairdresser not to rush. At first I spoke with Emily who assured me they’d do whatever it took to fix it so I was happy with it, but after making calls and sending photos and texts on the matter, it still has not been fixed 2 weeks later. Infact in my phone calls with management I was spoken to most unprofessionally, shamed, made to feel like I was to blame, no responsibility was taken for a bad job, nor effort made to make it better. Like I said, I was formerly such a great fan of EH I bought my sister in, and we returned again this day with my mother, spending about 2 grand between us. (They charged my mum $600 - original quote $715- for a cut and colour and foils… and she was in the salon for 6 hours! Her hair doesn’t even reach her shoulders.) Not since dealing with insurance companies have I been met with so much resistance in resolving the matter either. So much for being a valued customer and satisfaction being a number one priority. I haven’t shed this many tears over bad hair for years. For a company in the business of self esteem I feel absolutely ripped off, but mostly disappointed in how I’ve been treated like some problem client for daring to complain about not getting what I wanted, what I paid big bucks for, after years of singing their praises.

I was excited to get extensions after years of not having them and previously loved the results. I was disappointed with mine as the quote on the day was very expensive so i opted not to have the invisible tapes just the regular ones. I found the extensions to be dry and hard to look good without going to a tonne of effort. When i left the salon they where also tight and irritating. At the time i did not know, as i was not told the regular tape extensions are indian hair wich is not very good quality and if i had of known it was indian i would have made a different choice because i would never want indian tapes. Overall i just felt ripped off to be honest.

The best hair salon in Sydney!
From the moment I walked to when I left, I walked away with exactly what I wanted! (For all you blondes you know how tough that can be!)
I had the most amazing experience with Anthony, I was greeted and consulted in a professional manner, Anthony listened, he was friendly and talked me through the process, providing me with a quote before we begun.
This is such a great way to avoid unexpected costs a to the end. I think that’s something we have all witnessed that and it’s not fun.

Anthony is an outstanding colourist, he explains what he is doing, step by step, ensuring your happy and comfortable. He gave me exactly what I wanted,
I don’t think I have been to a hairdresser who can confidently say yes I can do that and deliver it the way you wanted exactly!

I highly recommend Emily Hadrill, if you are looking to change up your hair salon or wanting a reliable hairdresser who will give you what you want at a without the huge price tag!

Wonderful service. The receptionist was so sweet and accomodating when I arrived and offered me champagne! The interior was absolutely stunning. My hairdresser was funny and friendly and he did the most amazing job on my my hair, fixed mistakes made by past salons and I’ve fallen in love with my extensions! Super lush, had a fantastic experience. Will be returning to Emilly Hadrill in Paddington Sydney 100%!

I couldn't be more pleased with my hair. I went into the salon a little nervous and apprehensive because it would be my first time getting hair extensions. I even made a mood board! I was lucky enough to get Shez, who was very patient and calm. Thank you to everyone <3.

Was super unhappy with the mismatched colour of my hair extensions, the hair stylist also seemed aware of how it did not blend. Had to dye it myself when I came home. Before the start of the appointment I was given an estimate of the cost which included a set of hair products I did not yet consent to buying. The cost lowered by several hundreds once I noticed this and removed it from the total cost. Definitely overpriced; if luxury brands give disappointing results and are unclear about their expensive pricing then I'm no longer interested.

The team at Emily Hadrill is phenomenal! Their experience, knowledge and service is unparalleled. After years of going to the same salon, I was very hesitant to change and trust a new salon but Emily Hadrill exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best hair care!

Dana and the Team are absolute legends! I’ve been going to EH for nearly 18 months now and I’ve never EVER left unhappy. They go above and beyond every visit even when I’m being OCD about my placements - always happy to assist me. I’ve always had really thin uneven hair and the extensions give me the confidence to actually wear my hair down and not have to worry about tapes showing or looking unnatural.
I love especially how they always check on prices with you first before starting - something a lot of salons don’t do. The girls are awesome and genuinely care about not only your hair but you in person! I’ve been seeing Dana and Ali and both girls are exceptional - so down to earth and always take the time to make my hair look amazing even when I make them run past closing time! Couldn’t recommend more xx

Amazing! The girls did such a great job keeping my hair long, blonde and healthy, always professional and very helpful - the salon is always spotless and the staff are very clean and friendly.
