Elms Reserve reviews
1Cute playground at end of the lane. It’s handy for a play when picking up fish n chips or Chicken from Queen St shops. Shaded by trees so cold in winter -but perfect for a hot day. Has super monkey bars and rings, which my girls love. So why two stars? The adjoining houses of both adults and children are highly territorial of this playground and the lane in general. They look at you sideways, up and down but do not smile or say hi as you come in for a play. That’s right, both children and adults alike are hostile and aggressive to visitors. I’ve seen local young girls kicking preschoolers and yelling, “It’s my park! ” Local children will hog the swings, refusing to move, while you loudly soothe your 2yo with “the girls will give you a turn shortly when they’ve finished. ” Nope, they won’t budge off the swings. The adults living in adjoining properties are highly vigilant and will take you on at the slightest notion that you would even dare to think about coming to play here. You’d think in the middle of Woollahra the locals would have manners and decency to share a council playground. Not. Enter at your own risk
