Elephant Thai Cafè And Restaurant

Like Mary and Joseph from the New Testament, myself and my wife of 13 years were cruelly rejected from restaurant to restaurant whilst trying to find some sustenance.

However once we came across Elephant Thai and their lovely staff who accommodated us we felt exactly at home.

Once we let the food hit our taste buds… I immediately knew destiny had taken us to the right location.

Every bite was an orgasm of flavour in my mouth and left me wanting more.

Amazing food, best I've had in Nowra. Staff are always so nice. They are clearly passionate about hospitality as I've never had a bad experience here.

We met Tina for the first time because we are not local and she is the perfect host with her enthusiastic greeting of all the customers. She is of Greek origin like us and she made us feel very welcome from.the beginning.

We had lovely meals and the service from Tina was superb. We had a really nice chat with Tina which made the night memorable.

We highly recommend you come to the Elephant Thai restaurant when you are in Nowra if you are looking for great Thai food and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Whenever we are in Nowra we will definitely be back for a feed and to see them again.

Very friendly for a vegetarian and heaps of options to choose from.

They also sell some merchandise which looked amazing and interior design is also creative.

Surely stopping by next time on our way to the South Coast.

The food was tasty and freshly cooked. The food taste great! Me and my mom enjoyed the food and the staff are friendly and approachable.

Fabulous easy.the Duck Salad was delicious. & they are open Monday evenings.
Only off putting thing was the loud music coming from the kitchen.something more ambient would have set the atmosphere beautifully

We have been coming here for years, it is our go-to thai restaurant. Not only are the high quality dishes great value with lovely authentic flavours, but the consistently friendly service we have recieved from Tina has been second to none. We love the welcoming, calming atmosphere and often recommend it to all of our friends.)

The food here is excellent - definitely worthwhile, whether dining in or getting takeaway. If dining in, it's great for intimate dining or a small group. Thank you Tina (hope I have the name correct). We'll be back. Steve and Kylie

We revisit Bangkok every time we go back to the Elephant Thai Cafe. Food is amazing and prices quite reasonable. Staff are friendly and welcoming

Ate there so many times for lunch, food was always good, great service from the lady with curly hair always friendly. But last night food was horrible, my daughter and partner got there food way before me and my mum. So they had pretty much finished there dinner the time our food came. Young girl that was working was nice but the older waiter was rude think she is in the wrong type of work. Cooks should really feel ashamed sending food out like that. Unfortunately wont be back after last nights experience.

Love this place? I come here often and have tried most of the dishes. Every thing I've had has been without fault, a hands down ABSOLUTE DELIGHT If you want full and authentic flavours, great service and atmosphere, you've found the right place!?

My favourite dishes are the Laksa HOT, Red duck curry also HOT Clear noodle soup and Tom ka chicken YUM! And also anything with duck or pork belly. You could never go wrong with any of those; Especially the new Chill Basil Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice, just had some tonight and it's epic! Must eat!

Unfortunately I found the prices too rich and I ordered the pad thai and it was below acceptable. It really tasted as though they used tomato sauce and not much else for flavour. It wasn't cooked in a wok with a smoky wok flavour. The staff were lovely and premises well presented.

Really delicious and nutritious food at the Elephant Thai Cafe. Also good prices and friendly, efficient staff. I've been many times for lunch and always had enjoyable experiences and amazing meals. Thank you!

The staff are so lovely, they have lovely little touches to make the restaurant warm and welcoming! The food is always nice, they’re able to make most menu items vegan. They have got a wicked chilli hot choc! Sold!

We sat down and had such a meaningful chat with one of the staff members serving our table, we didn't think the food here could outshine how great their service was but. IT DID. THE Best Thai food we'd had in a long time, best Thai food in South NSW.
