Interacting with this Elders Hornsby proved to be highly unprofessional. The individual attempting to speak on behalf of Min displayed extreme frustration over the phone and rudeness. Dealing with this agent is a futile endeavor, given their lack of value and the representation they offer. I wouldn't allow them to represent Elders as a brand in real estate. A message to management: mastering the art of treating people is essential, as facing similar karma from others is only a matter of time before you experience yourselves. You lost my business and everyone I know in the Hornsby chamber of commerce.

Another Negative star because of your agent Kathy…

Been following up for couple of days for a property and applied as well and requested for a private inspection.
She neglected saying open home inspection will be conducted coming week and tonight I could see that the property status is Deposit taken at 1st home inspection which never happened.

How could Elders real estate keep these kind of unethical and unprofessional agents. There should be fair and equal opportunity given to all the house hunters.

Shame on you Kathy!

Worst Real Estate Property Company Ever! If there is negative rating, I will give them negative rating!

Your property manager will only respond to you up until you get your keys. After that, good luck on getting replies to any issues on your current rental property. Another person/team within Elders Real Estate will handle your issues, inspections, billing etc and that system does not work well. Having problem with rental property, their standard reply is, I am asking the owner about this and it takes forever to get them to action such rental issues.

Kathy is the worst! Yes, she can get tenants for owners - I suspect that is why she is getting recommendation here, all from owners. But tenants beware of Kathy! She told us our unit was professionally clean, went to check the unit the day before our move and it is not clean at all. There are molds on the windows and one look at the apartment and you will know any professional cleaner cant be that bad. She did not bother getting the issue fix!

When we ended our contract, Kathy had the audacity to nit pick - telling us we miss to clean a spot! Then did not even bother to release the rental bond after we give the keys and re-clean the missed spot! Beware of Kathy, she likes doing house inspection while tenant is there to hide all the defects of the house. You will never know there are leaking already!

I am not sure if owners are aware that it is not the property manager who inspect the house, it will be someone else from the property.

We will never ever get the service of Kathy and Elders! We will never ever again rent any property from Elders.

Absolutely the WORST real estate agents. They are true scammers! Their ingoing report was so inaccurate. They said everything was all perfect but there was so much damage to the property. Luckily we recorded everything because when we moved out they tried to pin it all on us. Wanted to keep our entire bond plus more. We had to take them to NCAT to get our money back and we still had to pay them some money to avoid waiting for a hearing. They used a dodgy investment company try and charge us a huge amount of money for repairs. The date on the quote was 4 months before we moved out. Stay away!

The worst place in the world liars, cheaters, fraudsters. They will ignore all emails and calls and try to scam you of every last dollar. Would not reccomend as a landlord or tennant as they are unprofessional and I would rather die than deal with them ever again

Kathy at Elders Hornsby was super fast, responsive, pro-active and hardworking. She was able to get my apartment in leased quickly after it had been sitting on the market for a long time with another agency, who were difficult to reach. I was very impressed with her strong work ethic and highly recommend her.

Like many others leaving a review here, I too wish I could give 0 stars. I wish I had listened to the reviews. Having lived in various different properties managed by a variety of different real estate agents, I can say without question that this is by far the worst I have ever had to deal with.

We moved in on the promise that a damaged shower would be repaired. Perhaps predictably, the agent never held up to their end of the bargain.

During my tenancy which lasted over a year, they failed to undertake many repairs, most of which were classified as urgent repairs. From leaky taps, toilets, water heater to a giant leak in the ceiling in the end, I have had to deal with it all.

I have never experienced such a slow response time from an agent who was reluctant to organise for anything to be fixed, and outright rude.
On a few occassions, my emails and phone calls were ignored and never responded to. All this happened while a leak in the roof had caved our ceiling in and filled the light fixture with water, causing an electrical fire. Yet the agent showed no degree of concern or urgency.

Things only got worse when I terminated the lease. They inspected the property without giving me a chance to be present and attempted to pin "damaged" areas of the unit on me. They claimed that I needed to pay for damages as a wooden bedroom door had been split open and that its "insides" had been hollowed out. It was honestly ridiculous that they attempted to accuse me of doing such a thing, especially considering that I had photo evidence from the start of the lease and had also indicated the damaged door in the initial condition report. It was clear that the door was simply a hollow door as most are. How does one even hollow out a door anyway?

They completely stopped responding to my request for my bond to be refunded and withheld this from me while I patiently waited a month. In the end, I had to file an official request for bond refund with NSW Fair Trading to resolve the issue. The bond was ultimately refunded to me by NSW Fair Trading as required by law. I never received a response from the agent throughout.

It's almost as if these guys will go out of their way to make your life miserable through dodgy tactics and downright unprofessional conduct.
If I have the time, I will definitely be putting in a complaint with NSW Fair Trading.

Kevin has shown my family and I professional service from day 1. From lease signing to when we moved in having minor problems with the kitchen sink. He was prompt and got things sorted out very fast. Highly recommend

The most rude and non compliant bunch I have come across. Do not engage with this crew. They barely know english nor have any understanding of the rules and regulations of fair trading. Nightmare to deal with.

Fraudsters and liars!
Quote false laws and legislation regarding their duty as realtors. Lazy and unmotivated. I feel bad for everyone they represent! Your tenants are being treated horribly! They don't represent your investment properties adequately. Absolutely pathetic!

If there was a way to give a 0 rating I would. Worst experience I have ever had! The agents are rude and outright greedy. They gave me a hard time when moving out, trying to get me to pay for things that I should't pay for. They did the final inspection without me even though I specifically asked to be notified so that I can be present, then came up with a list of things that were either pre-existing or not broken, demanding that I get them fixed. Luckily I had all the evidence to back my claims. I had to contact Fair Trade a few times because they clearly do not know what they are doing, and dont understand that tenants have rights too. I do not know how they still have licenses as they seem to not know the law at all and make up fraudulent 'legislation" to try and bully tenants. I am appalled by their services, and would NEVER use them for my property, and strongly dissuade anyone who thinks of using them.

Definitely not worth even contacting. I've been trying to get in touch with Ms. Gangga Devi and she will never return calls or handle home enquiries. Even when you contact their customer service line there will be rude response to customers. One of the worst in Real Estate

Daniel li replies to my request to view a property rudely saying it is not available. I replied saying letting him know it’s still online and maybe remove the listing (in case he didn’t know). He then berated me for that and ask why he should take it down. I said cause it wastes our time. He then went on to say that that he doesn’t even have time for inspections and what right do I have to ask him to remove the listing. I asked him to stop messaging me but he continued over and over sending me silly smart arse messages.

I’m assuming he was just having a bad day but no way to treat a customer. I would not recommend him to sell my property or rent my investments.
