El Jannah Granville reviews
73The best charcoal grilled chicken. And their garlic sauce is just out of this world. Jannah means Paradise. And that's where you will be after eating the food!
The best charcoal chicken and garlic dip and chips in Australia. Every time I travel to Sydney I visit the place in Granville and dine in their restaurant. I wish they would have El Jannah in every city in Australia.
Perfect food! Perfect Service! The Team @ Granville always accommodate our large orders for our office lunches and other occasions. The online order app is super efficient too.
Wasted my 30 minutes and they could not deliver food because of mismanagement and finally got my refund and left.poor customer service
Food is great and price is good too. Tgeir garlic sauce is a "must try" with charcoal chicken n lebanese bread.
Seriously don’t know why people like this place. Everything is over-salted, even the pickles. The garlic sauce which gets a lot of hype is mayo/canola oil with garlic in it, almost entirely fat (look it up). That’s not real toum. The only good thing I’ve eaten here was the pita bread. Terrible Lebanese even by this Canadian white boy standards. Nuba in Vancouver is leagues better and the same price.
You know what makes you so greedy? Is charging 15% holiday fee while you do not pay your staff a dime extra. I know that you pay them on ABN basis to avoid all that BS.
El Jannah Granville recently had a facelift and it is beautiful! The food is yummy as always! We ordered a Family Meal and added on a tabouli and 3 chicken tenders.
I was so disappointed today. It’s the end of this Lebanese restaurant selling falafels. I can’t believe it. It’s one of the most iconic Lebanese foods that they make. They also stop selling Labneh a long time ago. When I got home and opened the packet of Lebanese bread, the pieces were smaller than usual by about 30%.
I placed online order, when I arrived I had to inform them and within 5 mins I was handed over the order. The taste is amazing as always specially the creamy gravy sauce with charcoal chicken yummmm yummm:). This time I also tried the crispy burger, Honey Mustard Sauce and coleslaw they all taste amazing. Satisfied mine and familys hunger. Recommened to all.
Best charcoal chicken, big portions chicken and chips and halal. You choose Pickles/Tabouli/Coleslaw as side dish.
Whole chicken and the garlic dip was amazing. Came with a pack of fries, and I'm not a big fan of fries. Would've been great if we can trade it for a salad or something.
Garlic sauce, probably the best in town: D I am addicted to it. Their charcoal chicken is also far better than others.
Editing my review after 2 years.
It's total salt fest. مجموع الملح. It'd give you a heart attack. 5 to zero stars. Can't tolerate it anymore. I'm in my 30s.
What happened to our favourite chicken place! I respect the new look but so shame to see the menu has shrank and restricted to chicken only. We use to love the mix platter which is no longer available! No more fatoush! Even the staff not as friendly as it use to be not to mention the $13 charge because we are eating on public holiday! I told the lady behind the cashier the places seems to be empty we use to wait in line! Are you losing customers she said yes we are and I hope we will more Sounds shocking when she said it and she seems unhappy working there!
Bye bye to my favorite chicken place.must be new management that always ruin things up.
The last time we visited this place back in March 2020, it was already great.
Today we picked up whole chicken meal, OMG, it was so filling.
The three of us was stuffed and even have leftovers. Decent sized portion.
Queue was really long and people still waited, being sure to keep our distances. Some of us was still wearing a mask in this close to 40 degrees heat! But some chose not to, since it's no longer compulsory!
Other than that, I'm more than happy to wait for awesome and tasty food.
It was so busy day. Probably waited an hour to eat. Chicken was nice and moist. Worth the wait. But little bit too salty for myself
Never again in this shop! They charging 15% because it was public holiday! R u serious? Lol they making money because we buy from them and now we need to pay them because they r open. Ridiculous! Everyone should stop buying from these shops.
15% surcharge for public holiday. You are thief. All restaurants took 10% max.
Stingy, eat in with no plate like we are seating in the street. Very bad customer service.
Put on the side that their prices are getting ridiculously expensive - they charged me $9 extra fee because of the public holiday. As if they doing a favor for people and opening on public holidays + waited half an hour for my order
Chicken was warm, tender moist and super tasty. 1/4 Chicken with Garlic dip, pickel and 2 Lebanese bread for $10 is value for money. Service was very prompt.
