I don't know why in this environment they ring you up and expect you to recall all your bank details to them over the phone to prove you're real. You get a link to submit your bank details for payment beforehand, so you're the person who submitted the information to them in the first place. My latest pay is now held up now because I didn't want to give my details over to a random person on the phone. It's adding so much stress for me to just get paid as a freelancer.

One of our customers used this service and about a dozen of their suppliers information ended up on the dark web BEWARE.

I am compelled to express my concerns regarding the verification process utilised by this service. As the CEO of a company dedicated to the pillars of transparency and trust, I find the request for bank login credentials via a website, which lacks comprehensive information about the safeguarding of such sensitive data, to be highly problematic.

Moreover, the practice of recording calls for training without providing a cogent justification for how these recordings are managed or protected only exacerbates the sense of unease. These methods not only fall short of the stringent privacy standards that are expected from the privacy act but also risk compromising the integrity of supplier relationships.

Such data handling practices are unsettling and raise serious privacy concerns. In an era where data security is paramount, it is imperative for service providers to prioritise client confidentiality and to conduct their operations with the utmost discretion. Without unambiguous clarity on these critical aspects, I would advise against the use of this service, to preserve the trust and confidence that are crucial in any business engagement.

So in order to get our invoice paid, I had to go through the process of filling in all sorts of personal details to avoid fraud. I attempted twice, but both times stopped when it just seemed too much details and felt like fraud itself. In the end we left it with the customer, pay the invoice, or miss out on our service. They paid, but this was so weird.

Very user friendly and also like how EftSure shows on our bank portal, helps a lot when approving payments

Very weird process - having to create an account and enter your details via a secure online portal is fine, but then having to give your account details to a random over the phone (they cant relay the details for you to confirm, you have to give them the BSB + Account directly) seems counter productive to setting up your account 'securely' - especially as the people over the phone your talking to (or at least the 2 I spoke with) have zero empathy and are clearly just reading off a script, which when coupled with response delays and poor phone quality just screams dodgy, hence my reluctance to do anything over the phone until the supplier who needed me to do it confirmed this is in fact legit.

Having a 2 part verification I can appreciate, however your second part is not secure or reassuring, you seriously need to re-think how to carry out the verification process in a more secure and user friendly manner.

Since implementing EFTSURE, I now have a lot more assurance that the payments being made are going to the supplier. This software essentially provides another set of credible eyes and ears by ensuring the business has virtually eliminated the chances of bank fraud. Thank you to Alex and the team at EFTSURE for their continued customer service, it has made utilising the platform a breeze from a user point of view.

I get that companies need to be protected with anti scam processes but EFTsure need to realise their business looks like the biggest scam ever.
They refused to provide me with the invoice number I was chasing payment for but asked for my bank details to get payment for an undisclosed amount of money.

Understand that any random scammer following this process would sound no different.

We had a delightful experience during completing our verification, led by Yazman. She addressed all our inquiries and efficiently guided us through the entire process, ensuring we were ready to be safely paid by Red Cross.

Entering my bank's customer access details into a third party website doesn't feel right to me. Need another way of confirming account details. Either the banks setup a confirmation process for eftsure to gain the details required. Its a negative from me.
