I recently sustained a complicated fracture of the first metacarpal in a high speed bicycle fall. The recovery has proven to be challenging but I am extremely grateful to have had the benefit of Ian’s knowledge and experience in steering my hand to a favourable outcome. Ian is highly regarded and respected in his field as I have learned from numerous medical professionals and also witnessing his collaboration with others first hand.

Amazing service from both Dr Edmunds and the office secretary. Treated my 3 year old daughter and was very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly reccomend.

I had surgery on both hands, one carried out by the surgeon the other by the intern resulting in a 50% success rate. I was informed"this is a training hospital. "! My career is on hold.

Dr Edmunds operated some years ago, on me for trigger finger and on my son for a very serious and complicated sporting injury to his finger. In both cases his treatment, knowledge, attitude, in fact everything, was exceptional. I don’t even have a scar & my son has had a complete and uneventful recovery. How anyone can give less than 5 stars is beyond me. One reviewer complains about another doctor! And another is obviously a rude whinger. Keep up the good work Doctor

Dr Edmunds has to be one of the best hand surgeons in Sydney, I can’t believe there's anything other than 5 star reviews here. I've found him extremely knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant. My recovery from surgery was far quicker than expected, which I can only put down to expert execution.

Dr Ian Edmunds and his team are so professional and i am glad i have booked in to do surgery with him. I have had to cancel my scheduled operation a couple of times due to unforeseen circumstances and they have always prioritized my surgery to get me the next available date possible. My friend was operated on by Dr Edmunds and both the procedure and recovery went perfectly and I wouldn't trust anyone else to operate on me.

Dr Edmunds and his staff looked after me with the utmost care before, during and after surgery on my hand. The diagnosis was explained clearly and operative and non-operative options offered. Ultimately, I went down the operative pathway which was performed without any complications.

I have nothing but high praise for him and his practice.

Even though it has been many many years since I have seen Dr Edmunds, I remember him as being a very professional doctor and was very pleased with the results. Having rheumatoid arthritis I have recurring hand problems and won't hesitate to go to him when I have surgery on them again. Jennifer Fleming.

Obviously I don't want to have to take my kids to expensive specialists.
But if you do have to shell out it is nice to have some faith in them.

Dr Edmunds and his staff are most courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I've had carpal tunnel surgeries on each arm (2 years ago & 2 weeks ago) and have been amazed at the absence of pain, both in the immediate post op periods and in the years since. Very successful surgeries by a very skilled and pleasant surgeon. No scarring. Clear post op advice. I'm a registered nurse. I would recommend Dr Edmunds and the staff he works with most highly to anyone seeking surgery for their hands.

Terrible customer service and communication. I called the clinic numerous times with questions and received conflicting information every time in terms of post op care and appointments to the point that it really affected my recovery time. He passed on no info to the nurses at the hospital after my surgery so they had no idea what to do with me and when I expressed my concerns to Dr Edmunds he was very rude and couldn't seem to care less. I requested to be referred elsewhere. I am a vet nurse and I was absolutely shocked at the lack of organisation.
