Edition Roasters reviews
46Very cool little cafe in a modern Japanese style. Food and drinks were good. Service was outstanding.
The banana cake is delicious, delicious and not dry at all! The yuzu sauce on top also goes wellThe shrimp and shrimp oolong is very chewy. The shrimp is super delicious, but it will be a bit salty when you eat it below.
Absolutely loved my visit here! The food and service were excellent. It’s such a cool spot with a fantastic atmosphere. They’ve done a great job mixing Japanese and Western dishes - everything tastes amazing. And the drinks! There’s so many to choose from, making this place perfect for hanging out and having a good time.
I’ve got to talk about the Japanese pancakes – especially the strawberry ones I tried. They were out of this world! I’m definitely coming back to try more flavors. If you’re looking for a great place to eat and relax, this is it!
Create place to go with family, friends or even alone.
The food and coffee here are really delicious. However, the all-rounder with long black hair was extremly rude. If you don't want to work, just quit. But the other staff members were very friendly and polite.
Simply one of the best Sydney cafes! Food, drinks, and the service are all equally amazing!
I would recommend their iced matcha latte with extra matcha which is only 50 cents extra with soy milk, life changer!
Their staff are so friendly, they even take the extra step of remembering drinks and exactly how you like it if you are a regular, which makes my day.
I would also recommend visiting on Thursday-Saturday evenings, the lighting is dim and they usually have lit candles to complete the romantic setting.
They have recently gained popularity which means on a weekend expect to wait around 5-10 minutes for a table, but that is so justified! As their coffee and matcha are incredibly good!
The best breakfast experience in our entire Australia trip. Amazing food, coffee, service and ambiance. The Japanese pancakes are a MUST order.
Everything we ate here was unbelievably delicious and worth every dollar! The matcha latte is godly and I think about it so much now.
Unbelievable food - came here for my birthday and did NOT disappoint. Prawns were good, soufflé pancake was better. You’ve got to try this place
Sometimes we don't know how to describe "Umami" - the 5th flavor of food. The best way for you to experience umami is to eat the food from this restaurant. Then you will always remember it and never forget it anymore. That's how good the food is from this restaurant.
One of my favourite places for coffee in the area. Their Japanese yuzu cheesecake is also to die for. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Plus if you go on the right day, the cafe is relatively quiet and a great respite from the busy city.
Tiramisu, cheesecake and all of the desserts are uniquely delicious! Filtered coffee is the best
Highly recommend the Healthy breakfast - a nice dish to start your weekend/day, and the coffee is just the way I like. Staff are very nice and friendly, we felt welcoming.
Hi Edition team!
This is Sue who worked for several months, I’m very thankful that i got opportunity to learn coffee from Edition.
They have highest quality coffee I’ve ever worked!
They only consider as a customer’s perspective.
Coffee is always consistent, all the staffs are well trained.
If i have to recommend 1 cafe in Sydney, I will recommend Edition for sure!
Thank you for the good memories guys ️
This place is amazing. Simple design, stylish with minimalist class. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Sitting in the floor booths is comfy and feels like an authentic Japanese experience.
Everything was so good a bit pricey we spent like 80$ (2pp) but it’s okay I was so impressed.karaage chicken bowl 10/10
salmon bowl 9.5/10
banana bread 100/10 I love it! The yuzu butter so tasty. I’d love to go there everyday for banana bread
Not willing to give butter with black coffee.
No longer serving cauliflower curry and sausage burger… now there’s no reason to return.
The prawn udon is salty. Prepare to wait 1 hour at the weekend. Don’t be surprised when you get the expensive bill. There’s 10% surcharge at the weekend, including Saturday.
Edit: I don’t mind that prices are higher (I understand that everything is rising), but every time I go there they miss a detail and have quite stand offish service. Makes overall value disappointing. It’s not that hard to get an order correctly if you care about your customers.
I normally come here for my takeaway coffee, when I want a guaranteed good cup of coffee. Great roast and consistent! Glad I'm not too far away:)
Cannot really fault this team. First class, friendly service. Timely orders and presentation of tasty, simple, quality food. Onsen eggs were eggsellent!
Coffee was different level to most cafes. Had double shot skinny latte (multiple) with repeatable quality. Watched the barista Queen while waiting for the first take way- a master of the machine.
Ţhank you to the staff and management.
Actually quite good when their kitchen is open. Call them ahead, as they may not have the kitchen open.
