Edgewater Park reviews
24 Big playground all fenced off as well (a lot of the playgrounds on the path are not fenced)
Great area to picnic at as well, lots of trees for shade, right on the lake, a walking path you can also ride bikes and scooters on.
Boatramp also there
They hold a parkrun event every Saturday at 8am as well
Kids love this! Undercover seating and toilets near by. I will say it is a park for confident toddlers and upwards. It does have many spots a little one could hurt themselves with the ropes and height otherwise fantastic.
Enclosed Playground, toilets, open areas, BBQs, seating, on the Lake, great bike and walking path, parking.what more do you want?
Typically clean and tidy. Has a shelter, seats and tables, great equipment for a wide range of ages of kids
Great family outing venue. Great place for a picnic, had a BBQ, enjoyed a scenic walk along the fully paved pathway parralel to the lake. We loved the majestic abundance of angophera (gum) trees, some looked as if they were 70 years old.
Excellent park for children to play lots of different level for all ages. Clean toilets we maintained park, you can feed the ducks, just take proper food for them not bread.
Awesome park for birthdays best to go but sun heats the equipment up. No shade over playground. Shaded tables though
Great little spot to take the kiddies, toilets and a small park for the kids to play on. Right along the lake.
The park is great for little kids, street parking available and there are scattered picnic tables, some in shade some in full sun
Another really lovely spot to explore on the Central Coast. I went from Tuggerah so it was about a 20min drive. It was fairly busy but I went on a Saturday morning. The weather was beautiful, the path is wonderful and the views are stunning. At the beginning there is a fully fenced playground for the kids and some seating areas for picnics. There's also plenty of trees for shaded areas. The walking path is lengthy and we came across a house that provided a water bowl for dogs which was lovely. Parking availability isn't huge but I didn't have a problem at the time. Overall a very nice spot to enjoy a walk or a bike ride.
Lovely lake walk to charmhaven Bridge. About 8 klms. Shaded path. Toilets available. Take some fruit for a rest. Plenty of seats to rest. Delightful piece of coastal nature reserve.
Excellent little park great lake views swings and stuff for kids a toilet block can walk all around the lake easy parking
Totally agree. Beautiful place to watch the setting sun over the water and fish jumping out to say hello.
Great park for older kids. Not so great for toddlers, especially if they arent confident climbing high.
Good access to lake side bike path great for taking kids riding scooting or roller blading. Actual park has good play equipment, bbq and toilet block. Tap water also available.
This is a lovely, spacious park. It is not made for very young children, not much for them to do, but there is a great footpath right around and along the water and has tables, BBQs and lots of shady trees. There is enough space to bring a soccer ball or footy and have a kick.
Lovely partially fenced park with a toilet block. It is close to water so those with runners will need to be more vigilant. Spacious park, plenty of options for kids, covered seats and a BBQ. Lovely walking paths along the river to ride scooters or bikes.
Ease of parking and access. Some playground structures and on the path around Lake Budgewoi. A boat ramp and plenty of room for ball games and running around.
Fun little play area for the kids with sheltered seating and public BBQ.
Parkrun start location on Saturday mornings.
