Edcon Steel Store - Brookvale

This place is effectively a "con" as staff isn't able to count to more than the amount of fingers they have on both hands (sometimes not even). We are stuck tonight not able to complete a project because staff at Edcon FAILED to give the correct amount of screws, and this isn't the first time! Emailed the company but at that stage, is there even a manager? Are they able to understand the issue? Hopefully but we don't think so! Buyer beware!

Ordered on a Tuesday night and delivered by the Thursday morning - great communication on the way through as well.

I needed a piece of copper for a battery busbar. I didn't need a huge piece but the helpful young man at Edcon showed me what they had in the off cut shelf, and I found exactly what I needed. It was not expensive and the lady in the office was super helpful with extra questions I had about pieces of aluminium that I also needed.
Don't be too shy to try them for full lengths or sheets of all sorts of steel right through to brass or even just bits from the offcuts self. But they will just as happily cut a piece to size of what you need. You don't have to buy a full piece, to make your projects or repairs happen. Visit these wonderful and most helpful people with a massive range of products. You will not be disappointed.

Great place. Go see Marshall at the steel counter for whatever size rod fits your needs. Head over to the next counter where Chris happily handles all the nuts. I also go in for the occasional screw here and there. Cheers guys

Couldnt be happier with the service, pricing and quality we've recieved from these guys! We are doing a small reno ourselves and have needed a few beams each with either plates welded to certain areas or holes spaced to our engineers details and not only has the price been better then what some of the builders have indicated but we've recived the steel very quickly, as promised and its been exactly what we ordered. Great work Edcon!

I'm just a hobbyist, and needed sone sheetsteel and other stuff. Best service with fair pricing. Its an hour drive for me but its worth it. I will only buy my steel from here.

Best place to buy any metal - from tiny hobby to huge commercial project. Excellent service. REALLY cheap. Open Saturdays. Cant recommend them highly enough!
