Eckersley's Art & Craft

It's a specialist store stocking craft related things. You can get almost anything you need. They have nice collection. The only thing I didn't like is the the huge price tag on everything. It's quite expensive. A diamond painting thing for my kid was $30 or something. I got the similar thing for $12. Now, the quality may differ but it was not 2.5 times worth the price. A pack of wooden popsicle sticks were $8. Felt as if I was getting ripped.

Excellent service. Got the paints I was after was shown an easel I was enquiring about. The staff member took time to remove the easel from its box and show it to me.

My favourite local art shop! I usually visit and buy materials at least once fortnightly. The staff are so sweet and helpful especially the Asian lady with the nice smile (sorry I didn't catch her name but she kept saying "hun" which was sweet). Whenever I'm in doubt of the shades of watercolour painting, they always have a nice answer and recommendation. I always come back here!

Although they have a great selection, except that they only have a few branded professional paints to offer (No Schmincke, Holbein, Sennelier, Daniel Smith etc) their prices are ridiculously high. I actually dont recommend them when I get asked where to buy art supplies. If you’ve done enough price comparison you’d steer clear from Eckersleys. Their price point for Winsor and Newton Field Watercolor box is $335. You can get that for $100 online. Art supplies are already expensive but to triple it is just ridiculous. Definitely search somewhere else first before buying anything from them. This review is meant for the store itself and not the branch.

Staff are lovely and very helpful and knowledgeable which is 5 and very helpful.

Store is quite well stocked. I found most of the supplies i was looking for. Luckily it wasn't crowded and the staff helped me to find what i wanted.

I love visiting Eckersley's with all their art supplies and really feel inspired when visiting. Staff are friendly and always willing to help out.

Good selection on offer but very expensive. Staff are always helpful and friendly, but they sadly can't match online prices for pens (Copic etc)

The Parramatta Eckersley’s is always my favourite. They have the kindest staff and everything in stock!

I had the pleasure of shopping at Eckersley's recently, looking for some flesh-tone pigment. I spoke to Nat, who was very friendly, knowledgeable and really made me feel welcome in the store. She clearly explained my options for purchasing what I needed, I was very impressed with her service. I offer my highest compliments!

I've been shopping at the Parramatta store for years and have always found the staff there to be extremely helpful! I usually come in with very left field projects and they have never disappointed!

They have wide by of stationary and art material. The staff is really helpful and know their stuff! Love this place

Very helpful staff strongly discouraged me from making a purchase when trying to stupidly fix a wine stain on a wall. I went ahead with the purchase but definitely should have taken their advice
