Great place to get all ur painting equipment. Very nice people working there and they are so friendly and helpful.

I had been visiting this place frequently before many years ago. It is still a great place to shop for art supplies.

We got a pencil sharpener, a rubber, a pencil, a brush and a bit more. But on the way out closer to the cashier we spot the Deal. All of the items and more for half price! Yayyy!

A well put together selection, including a variety of brands to provide for a range of prices, which ai really appreciated. Knowledgeable staff too.

Received my order super quickly, 3days,, fantastically packaged to protect the graphite pencils! Highly recommended!

I went into the store this afternoon and there was only one customer and a staff member inside. When the other customer left, the staff member came and stood close to me while I was looking at the books on the shelf. At no time did she offer to help, or attempt to do anything else, until another customer came in, who she greeted. I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable with no justification and was very unlike my previous experiences with the Eckersley's store in the city, where the staff are extremely friendly and willing to help, but also give you the space to browse. Overall it felt very hostile and deliberately directed towards me. When I did actually buy something she didn't ask if I had a membership card even though I am a regular customer at Eckersley's. However I won't be returning - I'll go to the city store instead where I actually feel welcome and not made to feel like a thief.

The store doesn't have all the brands on their website, but it's still a wide selection and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Good to have a local arts store for all your arty emergencies.

I was quite appalled by the terrible customer service and hostility I was greeted with at St Leonards Eckersley's. There was an Asian female shop assistant who was openly hostile and rude. She told me and my Mum that we were not welcome into the store unless we were going to spend money and that we were not permitted to just browse. There were not many people in the store and no one was queuing to get in. I would have turned away had it not been for Nathan G. Nathan G was very helpful and courteous quite a stark contrast to the other staff member. We spent at least $160.

Compared to other Eckersley stores this one is old small and not too friendly. Obviously every art shop is great so we had fun anyway

Staff very welcoming and keen to help out, great service and a great range of products, highly recommend.

Ended up going here looking for a bizzare range of paint thinners/additives as presents for my mum. The staff were very helpful in helping me find where everything was. Great chat and service overall, will be back the next time i go on a witch hunt for bizzare goods.

Terrible Customer Service

Employees were blatantly rude to me after finding out I was under 18. I asked them to place something on hold for me, and told them I would return later that day. When coming back the products I had on hold had been sold. They said "We weren't sure when you were coming back so we out them back on the shelf". Incredibly rude and worst customer service, won't be going back.

Nice selection or things mostly geared towards crafts and painting, some drawing items but nothing especially niche.
