Fantastic location, and view from room was spectacular when cloud lifted! Only downside was noise from the rest of hotel! The sound of restaurant sorting and putting cutlery away at least twice a day was very audible in our room. Other guest noise in hallway was constantly impacting the peaceful view. Noise from the bar and piano one floor up was so loud on Saturday night we could hardly hear the movie in our room.

Don’t be fooled, not all rooms have views of the mountain. Ours was of the garden (see below) even though we paid for this hotel specifically for the view.

This hotel has no elevator. So even with a baby/stroller we had a room with many stairs (that sucked).

There is no pool inside the actual hotel. You have to cross the street.

The room has flies when we came in. They were for the garden so we couldn’t open our balcony door or more came I.

This hotel was not worthy of being the highest priced in the area. We regret our purchase and can’t recommend it. We were surprised the hotel made no attempt to rectify the situation.

The location of the hotel was a short walk to Echo Point, which has many other walks, activities close by.
All the amenities at the hotel and next door are amazing, you don’t have to venture far to get what you need for a relaxing stay.
The Breakfast view, food and service was on point!
The hotel front office team are extremely accommodating and no request was too hard.
We were lucky enough to have the pianist playing covers of Metallica and Nirvana at the bar whilst sipping on a couple of cocktails.
I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to go back.

A spectacular view over the valley on a cold rainy winters day tucked up inside with fantastic food and a relaxed atmosphere

Extravagant style and presentation, but severely lacking in differential substance.

We booked 2 deluxe view bed and breakfast packages. The appearance of the venue and staff attitudes were commendable. Except one waiter. We were informed that meals were at least two course, but come dinner ordering time it was mandated as three. No one informed us, and i rushed to do some hasty translations. The waiter just said he’ll be back and took off. The restaurant was fairly empty at the time. Hardly the decorum you would expect of a placed stylised as such.

Room views were definitely spectacular and the general hygiene good, but not exceptional. No outstanding amenities, not even a bathtub.

The complimentary items are a complete shock for the price and supposed prestige of this place. Not even a complimentary water, this is excruciatingly backward.

Overall, the experience was a stylish getaway, but the service, amenities, and and the value are not there. Would recommend others book AirBnB.

Want a beautiful view of the blue mountains for the corner suite. Older vintage style decor which is a pleasant change from modern hotels. Food is amazing but book early.

Be aware that Echoes Boutique Hotel has a Pay-In-Advance/NO REFUND policy regardless of the circumstances. Originally, we planned to go in Dec 2020. Echo did offer us a voucher that was good until Dec 2021 (One-Year) We were unable to get to Australia in 2021 during the Pandemic, so we lost $657.00. I did email them about another extension in the hopes that we could make concrete plans in 2022 when flights were more frequent and secure, but they just said, "No Extensions. " We were disappointed but understand that it was a hard year for them, and they needed our money to survive. Happy to donate. Echoes Boutique Hotel does not refund any portion of your money for any reason. Just go in knowing that and you will be fine.

Came here for a 60th birthday celebrations. I would highly recommend the scallops for entree’. Lovely views and there is the option of 2 or 3 courses. Rated 12 for the Australia good foods award winner!

Not worth it. Awful meal. Breakfast was much worst than Mac's. Dinner was average. Cold pool with no food or beverage service. Small jacuzzi on different location.
Relaxing massage was a more like a remidial massage with a male therapist. Not enjoyable at all.

A wonderful experience here for my husband's birthday. We were very appreciative of the staff bringing out a complimentary 'Happy Birthday' dessert for us on short notice. Staff were very attentive and the food is simply delicious. Small portion sizes but the quality of the food makes up for this. Very fine dining and expensive but worth it for a celebration dinner!

Unfortunately we had a major breakdown 2 weeks before arrival and we contacted the hotel to see if there were any cancellation options given the early notice. We were informed that regardless of the circumstances the booking was non-refundable. Disappointing.

Lovely airy room with spectacular views. Reception staff were very professional. Dinner was pleasant although nothing special. The only downside was a not very clean bathroom

All style and no substance. I wish I had taken notice of previous reviews and not gone here. It is like a production line. Food looks amazing but no flavour and they are just after the buck. Get in and quickly get out. Staff try hard but no personality. Way overpriced. Give it a miss for sure

We had dinner last night at Echoes Restaurant and while the service was amazing and extremely attentive the food was bland & tastless. We also got a hairs in our glass which we only got a sorry for. While the food looked alot better than it tasted we didnt even finish our mains, even the waiter sad it was sad. The only good part was dessert & by that time we were soo disappointed especially the price your paying at $115 a head you would expect a beautiful tasting meal.

We stayed for one night in the Cliff View Room last weekend. Including Breakfast for two this cost AUD $927.00. It is hard to know where to start with this review and I have waited a week to think about what to say, but in summary it is a rip off. The room is small with a tiny balcony that looks into the room next door.

Unfortunately the fog and rain meant that we didn't get the benefit of the view, which appears to be the best feature of this hotel and clearly blinds people to the real value of the property. I am sure the view is stunning BTW.

The bathroom (Room 607) was so small that sitting on the toilet meant that you had a bath on one leg and the vanity cupboard on your opposite shoulder - and i am not overweight! The shower head leaked with most of the water running outside of the shower. There was nowhere in the shower to put soap or shampoo other than at the back of the bath.

The minibar/tea and coffee offerings were dreadful. I have stayed in far cheaper hotels that provided a Nespresso or similar but here it was freeze dried sachets. Not even a free bottle of water! It was equivalent to a county motel in the 1990s not a resort charging almost $1000 a night. It would be reasonable value at 1/3 of the price.

The poor man on the front desk also managed the restaurant and was back again at breakfast making coffee. A shared plate of fruit was not served with a plate to allow you to share it. The food was good but there was a very limited range (we had lunch there for a friends birthday as well).

What is clear is that the owner/operators are taking advantage of people who are limited in their travel options. The staff were relatively attentive and asked for feedback on our stay which we provided. However on reading reviews on several sites before writing this, it seems the same complaints have been made for several years and clearly ignored.

It is disappointing to think that this is the best we can offer in the Blue Mountains. I will get a whole house through AirBnB for a whole weekend for the price we paid - never again.
