Having not skated for over 35 years walking into a skate shop was a tad intimidating. I have to say Jack was so enthusiastic and happy to help guide me towards what was the right options for me. He was not deterred by pulling out more than 10 types and helping me try various sizes. Even the boss piped in with some helpful tips. These guys were great. And they are a local small business that deserves the 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Great service and value. Each one of my kids have saved up and purchased quality scooters and safety gear from East End. Highly recommend them to everyone.

A 1-stop shop for all your surfing and skating — friendly service, especially their heart-warming message boards. Very popular with local surfers, scooters and skaters. Handy location opposite bus stop, on Main Street in Newcastle. Recommended.

This guy really knows his stuff! From an initial phone call of inquiry to information on E scooters for adult beginners, waited for us, and kept his shop open for us to arrive.he was informative with all the knowledge we needed, without being pushy and spent an extra half hour of his own time to make sure we had exactly what we wanted, customer service 100% (something hard to come by these days) quality products and a great range of everything you kneed for your purchase.thanks so much you will always be 1st choice of anything from bicycles skateboards scooters accessories to a simple cool sticker, East End Skate Sirf & Scooters is the best shop in newcastle hunter area

Asked young Bryn at the counter for a favour to leave out some info about a service for budding apprentices. He wasn't bothered with the 'What's in it for us? ' - just happy to help. Says so much about the place. Got this store on my Xmas shopping radar to support a local small business that's doing good. And yes, I'll tell everyone I know. Just wish I could roller skate! Excellent service excellent deals well looked after. I bought 2 envy scooters for my 2 girls I wanted them with pink wheels and pink bars they were happy to do this for me very thankful.highly recommend this place thank you to the young employee and the owner he also chucked in some free stickers for the girls

I was a bit spooked going in here as I've heard of many skate shops having a negative attitude toward beginners, but I was pleasantly surprised! I should've gotten his name but I was served by a tall dude with curly long hair. He was very welcoming and helpful, made the whole experience smooth and easy. I definitely recommend this store!
