Ordered 5 Yokohama Geolandar AT GO16. Upon inspection I discovered that the new tyres were all 2 years old. When i raised the matter i was told that i should have stated i wanted newer tyres. I replied that when i am spending over $2,000 for new tyres i believe that the tyres should not be old obsolete stock and suggest that it is my fault because i should have stated that i wanted recently produced tyres. My recommendation is find a more reputable dealer.

Don’t waste your time or money taking your vehicle to this shop. Their communication is horrendous and the job quality is even worse. Took my Ute to be fitted with a 3inch dobinson lift kit, picked it up with the springs being all scratched and chipped. Not to mention that they installed incorrect weight springs with both the front & rear. Once I took my Ute back, they changed the rear leafs for raw 4x4 brand without telling me and twisted the front springs around.
The Ute is now not even worth driving it rides that rough.
Don’t bother with these money grabbing cowboys.

Called in the afternoon and they were very obliging in finding and repairing a leak in my tyre on short notice. Great service

Took a friends deposit of $3,000 and haven’t come through with the goods and refuse to refund. Thieves.

Asked for a quote via email and got a quick response suggesting a different brand if I was open to it. Said absolutely and didn’t receive the quote despite following them up multiple times. Depending on their price they lost a sale as I booked in for lift and tyres elsewhere. Wouldn’t bother with these clowns.

Always quick and friendly service. These guys are really organized. We don't go anywhere else for tyres in Newcastle

Not great service. Wasn't asked if I could be helped. Walked to counter after walking around showroom aimlessly to ask for service. Had to wait while the male employee finished watching something on his phone. He was helpful after he was able to get off his chair but the damage for me had been done. Was prepared to spend good money on a wheel and tyre package. Unfortunately won't be happening from there now.

Can't praise them high enough. Fixed my car after another place butchered my wheel alignment. Will be a returning customer!

Fantastic service and pricing. I called up a few days beforehand to have a routine service on my Subaru done, was given a quote beforehand.

Dropped off the car, it was finished early and I wasn't charged a dollar over the quote.

They even caught some mistakes and issues that the previous mechanic at another shop had caused and fixed them at no extra charge.

Patrick was particularly helpful. He alerted me to a possible ongoing issue with my car and made sure i knew how to fix it if it came up again.

Will definitely come back here in the future!

Worst place to go to didn’t balance my wheels properly and cross threaded 3 studs that I now have to replace wouldn’t not recommend this place to anyone

A Fantastic experience from a great team!
I had been to numerous locations for my wheel lock nut problem: 4 tyre shops; 3 mechanics and even went to the local Land Rover dealership not to mention contacting LR head office and many calls to other businesses I thought could assist.
All were very quick to tell me what a big problem I faced and how many hundreds of dollars it would cost me to resolve.and they were all very busy and wouldnt be able to book me in for a few weeks.
One email to McCarrolls Auto Group (the dealership I purchased the car from) and they put me in contact with East Coast Tyres (Brian and Scott).
What a great difference. They asked me to come in at my convenience and fixed the problem on the spot!
Dont do what I did and go to East Coast Tyres as a last resort. Go to them first!
I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Worst experience I’ve encountered to date. I took a brand new “ luxury “ car there for a full suspension lift, I paid top dollar. Once I got the vehicle home I checked the rear springs because the car was sitting to low and couldn’t hold the weight I put in the tray, I then realised the springs were standard and they lifted the rear with spacers although I paid for load rated lift. I collected what was suppose to be the springs originally out of my car which they were not mine because they were destroyed and my car was new with 1000kms. They assured me they were my springs then went on further to say the next car we have come in I will take their springs and give them to you and they can have the old destroyed ones.
I’ve asked for a refund on the springs and control arms “which I don’t even have but paid in full” but still no refund.

This specific company in Newcastle is untrustworthy, dodgy and rough. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there.
The customer service is terrible and I’m still fighting to get my money back for things I’ve paid for but have no received.

Brought my car in as I was having issues with my wheels scrubbing. The guys at East coast were amazing put the car on the hoist and gave me the best deal on how to fix the issue instead of having to replace my tyres. Saved me a heap of money and were so professional and helpful

After having coils installed somewhere else incorrectly sorry and the guys went above and beyond to help fix it but could were stuffed due to incorrect installation helped me find a suitable pair for application. Elgrands are notoriously hard for parts. Installed them at a few room of the cost I paid initially carried out other maintenance that other mechanics couldn't figure out.can't rate these guys highly enough

Very good selection of aftermarket wheels. Good packages available. Wheel s tyres lift kits etc.

Time and time again I've come back to the team at East Coast Tyre and Auto for all kinds of service work and questions, not once have they ever let me down.

They take the time to explain all of the installs and the reasons behind their suggestions to really add confidence to the decision, and for a few last minute/drop of the hat fixes I've needed they've slotted me in without hesitation.

If you've ever thought about stopping by for a service or wanted to ring with questions about an install, do yourself a favour. Guaranteed you won't find better in Newcastle!

Reasonable prices for tyres and mags if you dont want to drive all the way to Tempe tyres as thats the only other place you will find cheaper than this place

Took my XY Ford in for a brake problem and 4 new tyres. Its had brake issues for the 10 years I've had it. The guys were really thorough and very careful with my car. They diagnosed the problem, rang me up with a quote and time frame and got the job done. The workshop is really tidy too which shows me they have pride in what they do and are careful with peoples cars. We had to wait for parts so they got in touch and let me know about the delay. The old girl stops on a dime now! Very happy. Highly recommended!
