Dymocks Rouse Hill

A few days ago I entered the store to look for a specific item, there was no one to ask because the staff where to busy chatting away. I went in again today, two staff members were behind the counter on their phones. I was not greeted, I asked a question about the price of a book and was spoken to rudely. Staff resumed playing on their phones and did not even raise their heads when I left the store. I go to dymocks for customer service, didn’t receive any. May aswell just order my books online.

Great staff, interacted with my daughter about books she was reading and were very polite. Store is a bit overstocked and a lot of books are displayed sideways to fit all the stock in. But it's a smaller shop and they seem to be trying to fit everything.

Great selection of books. Didn't have the one i was after, but looked up on computer and advised me that it was out of print and unavailable. Pleasant staff.very helpful and obliging.

Staff here are great, Erin helped me find exactly what i was looking for and had great suggestions. The book she suggested has been easy to get buried in.

I look for these books everywhere, and as always, Dymocks didn't disappoint. The price was a little bit higher

I went in with a list of books for grandchildren of various ages. Staff were very helpful in locating books plus a few more. Worth travelling the extra distance involved for me to buy books here.

Staff were very knowledgeable, particularly about amine books, and made age appropriate recommendations.

I needed help today and the lady totally ignored saying she busy… after walking around the store still she didn’t bother helping me… unprofessional incompetent staff

The lady on the front desk seems have no manners. I am asking a particular book but seems she doesn't care. Using phone whilst on work.

Best service. Went out of their way to find obscure books. So kind, so friendly and easy to talk with about books and authors. Really should go there just to browse or seek help.

My daughter loves picking her books from here. They have a variety of books which keeps her very busy

Books are a bit pricey, but good quality, and the staff are friendly. They always have the best of the best books.:)

Was there for an autograph session by Cam Smith. All patrons waited patiently along the building wall earlier on where there was shade only to be told by management to queue along the middle of the walk-way in the sun instead. Not great on a 30°+ day whilst having a young child in hand.

Good store. The staff are engaging and we'll informed. It is nice sometimes to be served by a real human.

Buy a book!

What you would expect really, which is the smell of books, booky staff, piles of books. So, awesome really!

This is always my first port of call when I want to buy a new book. It's a small shop, but they have an excellent range of books, especially cookbooks. Friendly, helpful service and you can browse undisturbed, even with children. They are always happy to answer any queries.

I had the best experience at Dymocks Rouse Hill. The girl who served me was so patient and kind, I had a list of books that I wanted but had to be ordered from other stores. She kindly waited as I found the books I needed, the whole time she was so nice to me, I would like to say thank you to her! Best experience I've ever had!

I'm thankful that in this day and age paper book can still be purchased from a traditional brick and mortar shop. Staff were friendly and helpful.
