Dymocks Chatswood

Great Dymocks store, bigger than a lot of other ones ive been to and also included lots of gifts and stationary items too. Selection of books in stock was impressive and picked up a few good titles from here.

What a horrible customer experience, I found a book I wanted on their online store but it takes 4-6 days for delivery and I have to allow another 2-4 days just in case. As this is a gift I need in a few days I asked in store locally. They don't have it in stock but "you can order it online" they said, which I already knew. So I ask, "Is it definitely in store in the city, I will travel in to get it. ", "We don't know" was the response. "Can you deliver from your warehouse to a store so I can collect? " Response, "No we don't do that, but you can order it online". This is why I will buy this book on Amazon, even though they don't have it in stock, it's same delivery timeframe and 30% cheaper.

Very good bookstore, many mature and good educated books. Lovely. Just no Anime, comics or short stories. Good for all ages. Organised. Many other things as well. As expensive as QBD

I went in to find The Magic Pudding, didn't get that but walked out with 2 Christmas presents & the latest Outlander book, all 900 pages done & dusted in 2 weeks. Great help from staff on a busy night.

Not the most competitive prices but always have a great selection of books. Staff are always helpful

If you find that they have the stock online go ahead but past that, its hot 90% of the time, and not good to look around

I like the display of the shop, always something new to look at but zero times out of my multiple visits that a staff would approach me before I approach them. Customer service needs to be improved.

A very comprehensive bookstore that has a wide range of books. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that it does not tend to do sales often.

This little shop has so many books and all in good condition! I bought the Manga book AKIRA and not only is it a good book, it’s in so good condition! The only thing I would prefer is that if they could lower down the prices. Other than that, it’s a very good book store.

Well lit store with more products than just books. Great layout with easy to read signs to direct you to the section you need

Has a great range of children's books for all age ranges. Also has a great gift section with greeting cards and other little bits and bobs to add to your present.

Always fun to come in wander around, pick up the book I want and have a quick brows before purchase. You cant do that with online shopping.

Dymocks is one of the best bookstores around the area. Located at Westfield Chatswood Level 3.
Most of the staffs are lovely and friendly.
I would like to give a credit for Jack!
The reason I gave 4star instead of five is the store has a little bit lack of certain types of books mainly the professional ones. I think they can place your order for pickup.but sometimes you need the book on spot or within couple days, not after one or two weeks!
Overall Im happy with this store and it didn’t take me long to become a loyal customer

I really love the customer service here, I forgot my giftcard at home but they were able to use the numbers on it without hesitation. With a smile as well! Great staff training, they're all super duper patient. I also took some photos here for my school project, they didn't kick me out, thank you I got an A, I owe you so much staff on duty.

Delightful friendly staff at Dymocks Chatswood and special shout out to Jacque, who was supremely helpful and kind with helping me pick out books for my teenage niece and nephew with patience and good humour. Must go for my kid in our every visit to Westfield Chatswood. Staff are very helpful. Having the membership and without the receipt I could replace a book that I'd bought by mistake with another one that my son wanted.

Jurcque patiently helped me to select a book to purchase for the long weekend ahead. Excellent and No. 1 service! W

Really great selection of books with lots of sections and a lot of variations in each section. The staff are also wonderful, polite and very helpful / engaging, especially one staff member who shared my love of a particular book and was able to give personalised recommendations! If I see him again, bravo! Highly recommend this store.

Great selection of books. The staff are kind and have great recommendations. The layout of the store makes browsing for books very easy and enjoyable.
