Dymocks Broadway

A great bookshop, not as good as the other Dymocks in the city though. Nice seting and staff, but just a short selection.

I love dymocks it's my favourite bookstore but this shop was a little disappointing. The stationery section was empty and I couldn't find book 1 in so many series. It's a shame because I much prefer shopping in store to online.

Alright spot to get books. Respectful staff.

Beyond books, they have games and a large selection of journaling equipment.

So I returned here for the first time since the revamp. I had such fond memories of the old Dymocks at Broadway - a beautiful, big sprawling store. The move to the new space is just so underwhelming and the collection unfortunately has been decimated. Struggled to find a suitable gift during my browsing. Staff were excellent and friendly but such a shame that it has been downsized so severely.

There is something about this Dymocks store that makes it my least favourite one. It's dimly lit with no windows and looks like it is trying to stay afloat.

Also the staff don't wear uniforms, so I guess it's a family run and staffed franchise.

There are books which cater to the popular rather than the rare or hard to get. Any joy these books are waiting to impart are soaked up by the depressing atmosphere.

It has that needy feel to it that makes you want to cringe and slink away once you enter.

My kids and I really found the children section and they both going books within a few minutes. In and out in a flash. Now that's how I like to do the Christmas shopping.

I walked around the shop for around half an hour. Always so inspiring to see so many new books and authors. I did buy a book, but it was the experience of finding it that I loved.

Plenty of room to browse. Great variety of stock. Found an excellent gift for my partner. Good service at the counter.

One of the bigger bookstores in the city. Usually great selection and staff are always super friendly and helpful.

Good selection, good prices, had what I needed and books I am definitely interested in getting for me, friends and family

Great variety of books. I'd still recommend calling them to confirm if they have a few books. Their database might not always be updated. I saw a book available at their store, dropped in within the hour and it wasn't available. Best to ask them to set it aside for your indulgence. Always received great service, very pleasant staff.

Large well stocked and lots of shops. Went to Hoyts Cinema and was great. Tons of parking, easy to get too, public transport as well.

Staff are friendly and helpful and I found what I was after. I'm making an effort to support bricks and mortar stores over online shopping as the latter generates excessive packaging.

Friendly workers but the prices of books not that good. Kmart which is in the same building has better prices for books.

Dymocks in Broadway is a great store to get some presents. Their offering is not as big as the city store, but still good enough. Staff always seem friendly and the store quite organised

Great selection of books at reasonable prices. Only gave 4 stars as parking is horrible. Broadway shopping centre is always so full and it can literally take up to 30 mins to find a parking spot and almost just as long to leave the carpark.

Great bookshop, always find good reads here. The staff here are friendly, however I received a rude response from one of them today when asked for help.

So many books to choose from and lots of space to sit down to read before buying a book. Great book store.

A beautiful store, one of the last dying breeds of bookstores that still provide a great service when it comes to published works. A well laid out store, welcoming for all ages. Huge selection of titles, authors, genres and everything else from writing tools to greeting cards. Great section for children's literature and staff here are knowledgeable and helpful and friendly and approachable. A welcoming ambience, wheelchair friendly and baby-bram friendly. A great experience for all ages.
