Dutch Smuggler Coffee Brewers reviews
24Such a nice treat in this rainy day. Indomie with toasty, feel at home (Indonesia) while am in Sydney. The owner, Kelvin is lovely and friendly
Excellent coffee! A true hidden gem in the area. Service was very attentive. Very friendly team who truly look after you. Love the toasties.
The food here is delicious and unique. The toastie fillings have to be tried, as explanations don’t do justice. Coffee is very good. Outdoors, so not good if weather is bad.
A place that small batch roasts its own A-Grade beans.that's all I needed to hear. A top rated cafe in the city - I had to check it out. A gut feeling said their brew would be good so ordered some coffee ground too for home - and sure enough - was good stuff.
Staff are friendly and accommodating. Will need to try their mie goreng toastie another time and also heard they have some dessert type things too.
It's a cute spot hidden in an architectural feature - which is definitely worth a visit for any coffee aficionado or corporate type nearby.
Note: I didn't rate the food as I didn't have any (can always amend another time). As for the atmosphere - there is construction going on nearby - so thought I'd withhold the rating (as that is something beyond their control). Having said that, I sat down and another coffee lover also sat down too nearby (with a pour-over no less - anyone who has a pour-over at a cafe clearly appreciates the blend of the place).
Until next time
Very small cafe that located in the cbd area. Genuine people and nice Indonesian staff and owners. They have unique floral nature beans and imported from Indonesia. It was really good and the sandwich very suits my Asian pallet.
Thank you
Very good coffee & toasties, especially the NY reuben. Perfect for a little lunch break in the city.
I recommend their cofee. There are signs to direct you to the premises. They are located next to the staircase.
The best coffee in this part of the time and great sandwiches. Also opens very early with super friendly staff.
I’ve been coming here for a few years now. Coffee is top notch, and the guys that run the place are super friendly and welcoming.
The best toastie I have ever had. Coffee was top class too. Almost made me wish I worked in the CBD just to visit this place every day. Almost.
As much as I heard lots of good things about their coffee and toastie, we did not order one (not feeling one).
Rather, we had 2 Portuguese tart, they were above average, pretty good (not sure if they are homemade?)
The hot matcha latte was rather sweet to my liking and matcha flavour was not strong. I had way better matcha elsewhere in Sydney. Would love to try their coffee one time!
The mi goreng toastie is worth the hype! I could eat one everyday and not get sick of it. Super kind staff and good service as well.
Easily one of the best coffee go to places in the city, highly recommend but mostly for people working there and less of a weekend exploration
Ice cold brew was great, had great aroma taste, and was not overly strong.
The banana bread with espresso butter was really good!
Must try when you are around
I don't usually drink coffee, but this was too good to pass. My group and I tried the decaf and an oat milk latte with one sugar. Both great. Toasties were also very well done, with the mushroom truffle one as my winner. Great place to chill away from the city hustle and bustle.
The truffle toastie is wonderful! As are the other ones - the flavours works well together. The service is super friendly.
The iced coffee was fantastic! This cafe has a great vibe and is in the middle of the city yet feels removed from bustle of Sydney. Truly memorable experience.
Tucked down a half flight of stairs out of view is this tiny nook with a yummy sticky chai and sammies. It’s a perfect stop.
The migoreng magic lives up to the hype. The team working here is super chill. This is an excellent place to get that quick caffeine fix.
Fantastic kimchi cheese toastie. Cappuccino was a bit of a let down, had too much milk for a regular sized cup
Amazing toasties, they’re unlike what you can find in the rest of Sydney.
Coffees are also never a let down. Ask for a magic!
