Dural Hendo Hire

Be careful of this company. I paid $100 for a compactor, it worked for 5mins overheated and they kept the money, then tried to double charge me for the next piece of equipment $500 down to $400 with the $100 credit. Best to go to macs hire in riverstone $220 alot more professional then these dodgy guys.

Gary is a good bloke, always helpful, and keeps his equipment maintained well with very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

I hired a Cherrypicker from Hendo’s Hire in Dural NSW for tradesmen to do maintenance on out two story home. The tradesmen were experienced using this type of equipment but after a couple of hours trying to get the machine to work had to call the hire company for advice. Eventually they sent a technician who supposedly fixed the problem. After an hour or so the machine could only be controlled from the ground station and not from the platform. This meant I was having to pay both men to use it instead of one doing the other ground level work he was meant to be doing. The machine was returned for repair. We needed the machine for two more days for the painting contractors and I asked for one of the days at half price as part compensation. This was agreed to. On paying the account the owner was aggressive and said the half day rate of 4 hours was about 75% of the full day rate of 24 hours and this is all he would then agree to. This is NOT the same as a 50% reduction and was a backdown on the agreement. The extra unnecessary labour costs to me was significant due to poorly maintained equipment with little compensation and not even an apology. I would not recommend Hendo’s Hire, Dural and would not use them again.

I have hired from Hendo on 3 or 4 occasions now and each time Hendo has been nothing but helpful, the equipment has been excellent and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend.

Hendo has a wealth of knowledge, and always happy to share the knowledge that results in saving time and money on a project, highly recommended.

Be very careful if you are planning on hiring from this company. They provided equipment that failed, they bodged a repair clamping a cable rather than replacing it. When the equipment failed a second time it caused injury that resulted in hospitalisation. Gary Henderson was rude to the extreme and after initially being apologetic he refused to rent to us again when I asked for his assurance that the repair had been done properly this time. He refused to provide a full refund for the equipment that failed and was very rude to both my wife and myself. His partner Danny is a really nice bloke and couldn't have been more helpful but Gary Henderson is rude and arrogant.

Mostly they have been great. But I rang just now to book a hire and when you call a business and they answer the phone "hello? " and it sounds like they just woke up, you question the professionalism of that business. Please train people answering the phone, this guy sounded like he just couldn't be bothered
