Dryridge Estate reviews
68We had our wedding at Dry Ridge. The venue is beautiful, the staff are very helpful and accommodating and you can create your own personal style for your day. Tables and chairs are really good quality and beautiful meaning little decoration is needed. The prep kitchen has allot of space. The accommodation is spacious and you have all you need in the one place.
Great wine and food and service great location and wonderful Blue Mountains views what could you ask for more. Just a note if you are mobility challenged ssk for a table on the upper level.
RESERVATIONS REQUIRED so book ahead
Hidden gem and great wine too. We spent a very pleasant afternoon enjoying their tasting selection and a wonderful ploughman's lunch. A long drive through the beautiful Megalong Valley was worth it as the destination sits in a glorious position overlooking the sandstone ridge of the western end of the Blue Mountains. Treat yourself, but remember to book. It's popular.
We visited her for father's day and had our 2 French bulldog pugs with us. All four of us (dogs included) had a great time. The staff were amazing, kind, attentive and so friendly. Wines were lovely and the views to die for. Absolutely recommended thus winery and will revisit soon. Also to mention Emma, I believe the owner was so lovely when the online booking system incorrectly booked us for the Saturday instead of Sunday, with no complaints simply moved it to the correct day and gave us an amazing table with an amazing view. Thanks for accommodating.
What a wonderful place, such an amazing view. The staff where all lovely and laid back. The managers, the furry kind, who where overseeing all there staff where the goodest boys! From the cheese board to the tasting it was a good experience. Would love to come back. An issue happened that day where most people couldn’t get in until late, but they where very accomodating and took it all in their stride.
What a sensational location and view!
Definitely worth the drive. The views and ambience were just gorgeous and the drive in from Blackheath was really special too. (Stop at Coachwood Glen Nature Trail if you have time on the way, it's gorgeous!)
The six foot track runs through the property so we went for a walk along the track after lunch and that was a beautiful way to finish the afternoon.
Highly recommended.
Incredibly scenic location in the Megalong Valley, with very reasonable prices for the wine tasting platter and charcuterie boards. Also lovely staff and very dog friendly!
Great service, delicious wines and the Plougman's lunch platter is a fantastic way to experience the wines. The views are to die for and of course on a sunny blue sky day its hard to beat. Next time I need to book the accommodation as it looks like a beautiful relaxing place to stay.
My hubby and I stayed in the Sunrise Lodge for our wedding anniversary. What to say! Well from the booking of the dates and the ease of contact to the actual property was brilliant. To us 5 stars is not enough. The lodge was beautiful, the view, the space, all outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and Emma was fantastic. All I can say is thank you for such a wonderful experience.
We had our wedding at Dryridge and could not be happier with our choice! Emma is a fab venue manager - super flexible, warm and responsive. The early check-in and late check-out time was super helpful and we even had cheese platters made up for us for when we arrived. This is the most BEAUTIFUL venue and it's impossible not to love it. The houses were so well equipped and every part of the venue was what we needed. We had also visited the winery a couple of times before and their ploughman's lunch and wines are super yummy. Will definitely be visiting again for our future anniversaries!
Amazing view, wine and incredible hospitality. The long lunch event was truly an awesome vibe. I'll be back.
From the very beginning, Emma was so helpful and accomodating. Emma was extremely responsive to all of our enquires and even took the time to communicate with our vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly and seamlessly on the day, and it did! It was really important to for us to have a fun and stress free wedding, and thanks to Emma's help and feedback throughout the entire process the day could not have been more perfect! Dryride Estate is a special and magical place and we can't express our gratitude enough in allowing us to get married there. All our guests were blown away by how beautiful the venue was and many have said to us that it was the best wedding they have ever been to! If you are considering getting married at Dryridge you will not regret it! We highly recommend the package where you can stay the entire weekend too, we invited the bridal party to stay the night before and the night after the wedding and it made the entire weekend such a special experience for all of the family. We could not be happier!?
Lots of love,
Jas & Jake
The wine testing experience here was excellent. The staff remembered that was our anniversary. The service was fast, the charcuterie board was plenty & variety. The gorgeous & beautiful views of the vineyard & the blue mountains. I recommend Everyone to check this out.
Stunning location. Great wines and a cheese board well worth the visit for. Stunning drive down to the valley. Last few kms via dirt roads. Beautiful wines and stunning views.
We had been given this adventure as a gift and wow what a lovely place. We had a cheese platter with red and white wine tasting. It was just amazing place and the view of the the Valley was spectacular and really set the scene. To all the staff at Dryridge Estate thank you for a wonderful afternoon and excellent hospitality. I would definitely recommend the drive to this fantastic venue.
We visited Dryridge Estate on a girls weekend a couple of weeks ago. It was a beautiful drive up through the Megalong Valley but that wasn't the best part - the welcome from Emma was wonderful, the setting is divine, the wine tasting and ploughman's lunch was all so perfect. All the girls in my group commented that it was a must visit when in the Blue Mountains. We are going to a wedding there in December - can't wait. I already know it will be absolutely heavenly with the setting and view. It's really the type of place where you're just excited to be and I kept saying "how good is this". Highly recommended.
Relaxing stay in a stunning location! Wonderfully comfortable accomodation set atop the hill with breathtaking views. The only thing that tops this is the working vineyard less than 50m away. We had a great weekend that included long bush walks, a relaxing spa, dinners on the verandah overlooking the vines and a long lunch and wine tasting. Emma and her team were incredibly accomodating and gracious with our dogs. One of the best, if not the best, dog friendly accomodation in NSW! A rare gem!
Beautiful views and lovely place, however, I felt uncomfortable when the female owner has made comments about my accent.
Absolutely stunning location. The wine tasting was fantastic and the cheeseboard was great. My husband and I are wine newbies but our server was amazing and very approachable with our novice questions. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!
Everyone needs to put this on their bucket list. Could not fault a thing. Amazing. From the warmest welcome to some of the finest wines we have sipped and a view that you get lost in. Cannot wait to return.
