Drive Autobody

My car had been in an accident where the front driver door had been swiped and the car was un-driveable. My car was taken to Drive Auto-body to be repaired. Whilst the door itself was repaired to a very high standard, there were some smaller glitches that needed to be attended to such as the weather guard (plastic component) on the door. This was not attached properly and was loose fitting. There was also an issue where the new driver door did not have the internal cable attached for the door lock to show the door to be locked / unlocked from the inside while driving.

Upon second pick up my car was not ready for collection even though a time was organised the day prior (apparently there was an emergency that day). I did get the car that day although communication was lacking.

Despite all this, I called the owner, Marv to discuss outstanding issues. Marv was extremely apologetic and ensured that he would see to the job being done properly and offered compensation (in form of extra car care) for my time and experiences thus far. I am glad I did see this company through to complete the job as my car is now like new and I am happy with the level of service provided. Marv went out of his way to ensure jobs were completed to a high standard and safety was a priority. He even picked up my car from my work and dropped it off again, so that I would not be without a car again as a busy mum.

I came into drive auto body with an electrical fault (due to spilt coffee they even cleaned out any coffee from the spillage) within 2 day turn around the had my car back to me! They are bloody legends! Would highly recommend them! Thank you for your excellent team of high trained individuals! Will definitely use them again!

Went to multiple places for a quote on my car which had a dent on my front fender and Drive Auto Body was the only one that approached me with a honest price. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The whole process was complete in under 4 days. Not only that.upon receiving my car back i noticed they even buffed and polished a few scratches off my bumper which was done on the house! Would definitely come back for future repairs.

The team at drive autobody did an awesome job on my car after a collision. I got numerous quotes previous to drive autobody and they were the cheapest by far. I was so surprised that I could not see any signs of where the original damage was and this was all done in a speedy manner. The staffs communication made me feel comfortable with leaving my car with them for a quality service.

I adore my car. I look after it and it looks after me and my most precious cargo, my children. There is nothing more inconvenient than getting involved in a car accident. Over the past 6 years, I have had 6 car accidents 3 of which happened whilst my car was parked! The inconvenience! Not to mention the cost and the waste of time. That was all until I started doing business with Drive Auto Body and of course Anastasia (their office manager). They always ensure that my car is repaired and that I an never inconvenienced. They are even going out of their way so that I can pick up my car tomorrow as I am going on holiday towards the end of the week. DON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS REVIEWED THIS BUSINESS. I value my reputation - ring and speak to Anastasia and she makes everything better. I am so fussy about my car and their work is always IMPECCABLE and cannot be faulted. Anastasia will make sure that an Uber is waiting to collect me and bring me from the car hire place and to pick me up and get my car. Don't trust anyone else with your car except these amazing people who go above and beyond and REFUSE to cut any corners. I WILL NEVER take any car I own now or in the future (i hope i never need to) ANYWHERE ELSE! My first call if anything happens is to Anastasia and she is just an Angel getting as much as she can on her side moving TO SAVE ME TIME. Our insurance company sent our Mazda 3 for repair to Drive Autobody in Silverwater. It has been repaired well. However the state of the car upon return is appalling. Completely understandable for a car to need a bit of a clean when it comes back from an auto shop, however the way it was returned to us looked like it had been in a sandstorm. There was dust in every corner of the car, the dash was covered in a thick layer of grime and it has gone well into the grain. Everything from the air vents, to the car seats and mats are full of dust in every corner. The glove compartment and storage under the arm rest are filthy- stained with dirt.
The car has been maintained with a lot of care and effort on our part, it has been returned with minor scratches across the dash and steering wheel, dirt on the ceiling of the car, smudges that have ruined the cover of the speedometer. This will all impact the resale value of our car because of carelessness on part of Drive Autobody.
They had the car for a month, they could have put in another half hour of effort to at least wipe it down before returning it to us.
If you are particular about the cleanliness of your car, I do not recommend going here. We will be taking this up with our insurance company too.

UPDATE: we’ve spoken with the owner, Alan, and been blown away by his customer service. He’s arranging for the car to be detailed & polished. It doesn’t fix what was damaged but credit is due for his effort and service. We do appreciate the effort he has made.

Pretty disappointing service from this company, I had organised a time to get down to pick up my vehicle as i had been notified of the availability of collection. I come down to see my vehicle hasn't been repaired properly more specifically the wheel involved in the incident, I questioned this, to there credit had this organised straight away, however, was a large inconvenience to my day as i had planned around this. Further to this on pickup of my vehicle, i had accumulated approximately 20 additional kilometres on my dashboard. The vehicle was dropped off with a quarter tank of petrol and returned almost empty.

My parking sensors no longer work since the vehicle was "repaired" i also have further damage on the rear tail light where the bar was removed.

Needless to say i would not recommend this company to any one, if your insurance company recommends this place, stand your ground and steer clear.

I have received an email from Alan to touch base regarding the issues above, unfortunately, due there incompetence, i have had the vehicle taken elsewhere to have there problems fixed, furthermore to this, my email response regarding the quarter tank of fuel was simply disregarded with a generic apology. Pretty abysmal service.

I have filled a formal complaint to AAMI regarding the abysmal service i have received. I will reiterate to anybody that has had the car booked in by there insurance company avoid this place.

Had my car repaired by Drive Autobody and was very impressed with the work completed, all the repairs were completed to a high standard. I had one concern about the colour of my condenser (visible through the grill), and spoke to the team about it who went above and beyond to locate and order in the part in black and then have it swapped for me. This has been the most seamless process and Anastasia is hands down the most incredible person to deal with. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Drive Autobody to anyone, they are professionals who deliver quality work and I am so happy that they were the ones who carried out the work on my car!
