Dragon Palace

The Dragon Palace was exactly what I expected from a small country town Chinese restaurant… huge serves of delicious food and an extensive gluten-free menu. We can’t wait to come come back!

The front desk person could be better trained how to treat customers or work at HJ's. The other staff made up for this person's bad attitude. The food was excellent and plenty of it. We struggled to finish our meals. This place is very good for the ambience and there is a bar too.

Definitely cannot recommend enough.

This has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. We were travelling through Tamworth and went here for a meal. The service was 100%. The food was 1000%. If I travel back through will definitely be back. Well done for amazing me.

Such a beautiful restaurant! This is the only Chinese that even comes close to my favourite in Gunnedah (Happy Valley).

Absolutely the best Chinese we have eaten. We have stayed in Tamworth several times and never miss a visit here. Friendly and happy staff, attentive, without being pushy and the food is brilliant. Huge serves and the best fried rice we have had. We just had the normal fried rice and can't imagine what extra goes into "special" fried rice as ours was jam packed with flavour. Wouldn't miss visiting here whenever we are staying in the area. Wish we lived close enough to work our way through the entire menu!

The best Chinese ever. King Prawn cutlets are the best, Satay King Prawns and sliced Beef in bbq sauce n special fries rice. The best Chinese we've had for years and also delivered to our caravan. Would highly recommend this Chinese restaurant. Also it was just my husband and I we had enough for dinner the next night

Very good place to dine-in. We visited on 26th dec 2022, boxing day and travelled to tamworth from sydney. The atmosphere is really great. Its a hidden gem. Foods are marvellous. Spot on very dishes. Servers are very friendly and quick. Overall, great experience. I am chef, so i would like to recommend everyone to try their dishes.

We’d seen great reviews and decided to check it out. So glad we didBeautifully decorated which sets the ambience. Super quick service for drinks and food. Larger than usual servings. The small fried rice is huge, 3 servings worth. We had honey king prawns, light batter. Scallops in crab meat sauce, the most scallops we’ve ever had in one serve. Very delicious. Would highly recommend

Been a 4th time now and as expected excellent food, excellent customer service and value for money.

Pretty average to be honest, chicken chow mein lacked any flavor at all, actually tasted like two minute noodles.

Beef and black bean had no veg just beef and onion

Fried rice was only decent

We have had a lot of Chinese meals in a lot of different places and I can honestly say this is some of the best Chinese food we have ever tasted. Would definitely recommend.

The best Chinese Restaurant I have been to and I have been to quite a few. Excellent food, wonderful service by staff obviously happy in their job. Servings are very generous. We had sweet and sour pork, sweet and sour chicken and a small special fried rice. Couldn't eat it all and they were happy to parcel up the left overs for us to take home. Then came the big finish, hot towels and chocolate each. Proper table cloths and beautiful napkins. The restaurant is completed with many Chinese furnishings and the seats are large and comfortable. Definitely recommend this place.

First impression wasn't great, was asked if I was alright by wait staff when I entered I guess I didn't wear the best suit in all of the land, didn't feel good.

The food was like semi-authentic, the environment was more so. The prices were kinda insane but I can tell a lot went into the restaurant. In my experience as a whole, I'm not going back personally but it's not a bad restaurant. I would rather pay near $100 for authentic food as opposed to "an experience. "
