I was introduced to Dr Aggarwal by way of St Luke's Hospital clinic at Potts Point to remove a large BCC on the side of my nose. I was a bit overwhelmed by the diagnosis however Dr Aggarwal was calm and very reassuring from the start. I underwent the surgery 10 days ago and today all stitches are gone, the wound has healed up and I'm now on scar management. I was overwhelmed by the Dr's skills and his amazing team, I cannot recommend them more highly.

Choosing Dr Shagun Aggarwal and the staff at Mode Plastic Surgery for my breast augmentation was one of the greatest decisions I have made. Having had a few consults with other surgeons that left me feeling rushed and pressured to book a surgery in, I immediately felt comfortable upon meeting Dr Aggarwal, who was so thorough and informative in each of our consultations. I have recently undergone surgery for replacement of ruptured breast implants. At the time of consultation I was very stressed. But I wished I had known I had nothing to worry about. Dr Aggarwal made me feel at ease from the moment I walked into his consultation room. He is very professional in his approach, friendly and caring. He listened intently to me, wrote down all the necessary information of my past medical history and gave plenty of helpful advice and information about this surgery.

After my first consultation I felt so much more at ease. I walked away with a folder full of information to read before I made my final decision. I decided to undergo breast implant replacement surgery again and thank god I did.

On the day of the operation I was very nervous but Dr Aggawal helped put my mind at ease and of course I had nothing to worry about. The post operative care was exceptional. If I ever had any concerns I could contact Dr Aggarwal by mobile anytime. The Healite Therapy treatment mostly performed by Karyn, the practise nurse, to improve skin healing time was fantastic. As a result, I am more than happy with the result and I actually look better then ever.

I just love the team in the office. They are so friendly but professional and discreet. I would also like to thank Michael as he was always a joy to chat to which made me feel at ease. Also, Karyn, the practise nurse, such a sweet and caring person.

I understand breast implants aren’t forever but would not hesitate going back to Dr Aggarwal again - actually I would only go to Dr Aggarwal now.

Dr Aggarwal performed surgery on me in September 2023. From the minute I met Dr Aggarwal, he listened to my concerns and answered all my questions, and there were many. I chose Dr. S. Aggarwal for my unilateral breast reconstruction after a radical mastectomy. This was a very challenging procedure due to a second reoccurrence of the tumour requiring radiotherapy.
I needed his expertise as a plastic surgeon and my decision to choose him was finalised in two steps. Firstly a Google search confirmed his impeccable academic and empirical credentials. Secondly a plastic surgeon who is also a colleague of his that I consulted previously said that I was in safe hands with him as he does microsurgery routinely.

Very happy with the results of Dr Aggarwal's removal of my BCC and the care with which the nurse and office staff supported me through the process. The BCC was in a highly visible place and the wound is virtually invisible in less than 2 months since surgery

Information before and after the operation was very good. Doctor's expertise was evident. Results are excellent; getting better all the time. Any further skin operations I will look no further.

Shagun removed an SCC from my leg and grafted skin from my hip for the wound. Six weeks later it is almost totally healed. I’m very please with the warm professionalism of Shagun and his fine staff Karen and Michael.

Very happy to recommend this service. I recently had autologous breast reconstruction following a mastectomy. The surgery was a really big deal but Dr Aggarwal left no question unanswered. He gave me a lot of time in the pre op consults to ask any questions and also gave me the consult notes and diagrams to refer back to. I found this really helpful. The appearance post op could not be better. Dr Aggarwal and his team give clear advice and guidance post op which helps the recovery process.

I chose Dr Aggarwal for breast implant revision, and could not have chosen better. I'm very impressed with the results. The revision was to correct a problem with the old implants that emerged after a decade having them. What Dr Aggarwal achieved wasn't just to fix the issue, but to make them even better than what I'd had before the problem.

The first thing you notice with Dr Aggarwal is his impeccable bedside manner. He takes the time to listen, understand, document your situation and choices, and explain, providing plenty of information as guidance and tailoring that guidance to what you want as you make decisions about the procedure. This goes beyond just putting you at ease: it means he ensures patient and surgeon are on exactly the same page regarding surgical decisions and expected outcomes before anything is done.

As a surgeon, Dr Aggarwal is downright excellent. He has a focus on professional perfection - both in terms of artistry and the evidence-based technical aspects. Yet, at the same time, he is very committed to ensuring you get what works for you. I put limitations on what would have been objective perfection, wanting to avoid risks I wasn't ready to take. He appeared to take my limitations as a professional challenge to make things as perfect as possible while absolutely working within them. Exactly what I wanted in a surgeon, and the outcome was the best I could have imagined.

Dr Aggarwal's team is likewise excellent, from receptionists to the anaesthetist he chose to work with for my surgery. Everyone is friendly and considerate, and take pains to ensure you feel comfortable. Meeting the surgical team prior to the operation reaffirmed for me I'd made the right choice. Their knowledge, their responsiveness to questions and concerns, and their blend of efficiency and ability to take the time to ensure all is answered and explained, speaks of great skill and experience. I have never been anaesthetised or intubated so well, which is a weird-sounding compliment, but it genuinely impressed me. I had a couple concerns regarding anaesthetic and intubation. They were listened to, and I woke up with no issues, not even a sore throat.

My procedure was not the simplest nor easiest, but it was undertaken with admirable skill and commitment. For me, it takes a lot of trust to go into lala land and let other people make changes to my body, and Dr Aggarwal and his team more than demonstrated that trust well-placed. I cannot fault a thing, not even about smaller matters such as post-op care or communication with the surgeon. I am very pleased and have zero complaints about any of it. Would recommend without caveats.
