Outstanding ENT Surgeon for Children - Highly Recommended!

Professor Raymond Sacks is an exceptional ENT surgeon on Sydney's North Shore. He recently performed tonsil/adenoid/turbinate surgery on my 6-year-old daughter, and I am incredibly grateful for his outstanding care.

Professor Sacks' bedside manner is brilliant. He effortlessly put my daughter at ease, turning her appointment into a great experience with magic tricks and fun. His warmth and genuine care made the entire process stress-free for her.

The surgery performed by Professor Sacks was a success, and he also provided top-notch post-operative care. He was readily available to address our concerns and ensured a smooth recovery for my daughter.

I wholeheartedly recommend Professor Raymond Sacks to any parent in need of an ENT surgeon for their child. His exceptional skills, compassionate approach, and dedication to his young patients make him a standout choice. We are forever grateful for his care and expertise.

Thank you, Professor Sacks, for going above and beyond to provide outstanding care to my daughter. You are truly remarkable in your field.

Absolute Lifesaver! My family and I are incredibly grateful for Prof Raymond Sacks. He was so knowledgeable and professional with the most amazing bedside manner. He removed a Tumour recently for my father while saving his vision and brain from impact, while also giving him his quality of life back with significant improvements to his Septum, Sinuses and Breathing. I cannot thank and recommend him enough!

I honestly can't thank Prof. Sacks enough for his incredible work!
For the past 2 years I had a seriously deviated septum, which was left untreated. I'm post-surgery now and I feel like I've gotten my life back and am ready to appreciate every day. I can finally breathe again and it's something that I'll never ever take for granted.
The cherry on top is that he happens to be a standup bloke and an excellent communicator with his patients.
I couldn't recommend him higher and am absolutely ecstatic about my experience with the man.

For most of my life I could hardly breathe through my nose and had sleep apnea and recurring bronchitis among other related issues. Prof Sacks operated on my sinus and turbinates and since then I've had none of those problems. The operation quite literally has changed my life and I cannot thank Prof Sacks enough.

Professor Sacks completely resolved long-standing breathing, smell and sinus issues for me. The problems got progressively worse over the years to the point I could hardly breath through my nose, I couldn't smell, dust etc would make me sneeze persistently, and I seemed to catch colds very frequently. After getting rid of each cold, a cough would remain for weeks that would not allow me to sleep. A couple of GPs claimed allergies were causing all issues. I didn't really believe this diagnosis (for several reasons) so I went to Professor Sacks. It's currently 18 months since surgery; I can breath through my nose better than ever before, I can smell, I haven't had a cold or cough since. It's improved my quality of life.

I am very grateful to Professor Raymond Sacks for his clear understanding, exceptional skill and the inspiring way that he humbly applies his knowledge and talent. After accurately diagnosing the reason for a sphenoidal sinus lesion noted on previous MRI scans, Professor Sacks always explained things clearly, was transparent and realistic. I at all times have had complete confidence in Professor Sacks. His assessment and guidance is realistic, presenting the information that I had confidence in and therefore when he explained in a recent CT scan that surgery was required sooner rather than later and that ultimately I would have had two to three years to live, surgery was arranged. Professor Sacks has had my complete trust and I felt assured at all times in his knowledge and skill. I had never realised how serious sinus disease can be and never had any symptoms other than a headache that I first noted in 1987. Professor Sacks was able to identify the lesion on an x-ray that was taken in 1987 and on MRI scans done over the years for other reasons. The sphenoidal sinus was never raised as urgent by any of the reviews. I am very grateful that my g.p. Advised that I wait to consult with Professor Sacks in 2017, once she identified the importance of the lesion on the sphenoidal sinus. After monitoring me, advising me and liaising with my Ophthalmologist at all times, Professor Sacks performed a right-sided endoscopic decompression of my optic nerve and created ‘a wide sphenoethmoidectomy cavity’ successfully treating ‘a large mucocele of an Onodi cell’ which had ‘pneumatised both above and lateral to the sphenoid sinus’ and ‘demineralised the bone over the optic nerve and was compressing the optic nerve itself’. I owe him my sight and life. My recovery has been easy. Professor Sacks is an inspiration and I wish him everything of the best always.

Professor Sacks has been treating me for some years for chronic sinusitis. My ability now to breathe thru my nose, now have smell and taste and no sinus infections, is due to the amazing work that he performed on me.
He came highly recommended to me and I have never been disappointed. He is a true professional.

For several decades, I suffered badly from chronic sinusitis.
Having gained no relief from 2 sinus operations, I was most fortunate to be referred to Professor Sacks.
With his outstanding diagnosis of my debilitating problems, combined with his brilliant surgical skills my lifestyle has been completely changed and health problems relieved.
I could not thank Professor Sacks or recommend him highly enough.
After being in despair for so many years, it is again great to find life is so worthwhile because of his unbelievable abilities.

Prof Raymond Sacks was recommended to me, to help my wife's chronic nasal and sinus issues. From the first consultation Dr Sacks was able to diagnose and also show us both (my wife and i) the issues, and how to treat them. Equally importantly was the way he made my wife relax and realise she was in the best possible hands.

From pre-op, all the way to post surgical consultations Dr Sacks was flawless. He is genuinely caring, prompt and treats patients as a human and individual which hasn't always been the case with other Doctors. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anybody requiring any ENT issues.

Prof Sacks goes above and beyond the call of duty with his patients. He is kind, considerate and personable, ensuring the patients needs are always met. I have referred him to one of my closest friends and they had the same positive experience. Specialists like Prof Sacks are very few and far between so singing his praise comes easily. I highly recommend

A fabulous surgeon and a fabulous person. My 3 year old daughter absolutely loved him, and he made her feel so at ease with having her tonsils and adenoids removed. We were happy to wait to see him, because we knew that he is the best.

I am alive today because of this incredible doctor. After being diagnosed with a Stage IV tumour in my sphenoid and being told I will not see Christmas, I am alive today, six years later, all because of Professor Raymond Sacks. He is a brilliant surgeon with an absolutely beautiful bed side manner. The passion and care that he has for his patients is outstanding. He came to see me at 9.30pm the day i was diagnosed and operated on me the day after. I went through Chemotherapy and Radiation Treatment and all I can say is the whole experience was only tolerated so well by me because of this truly amazing doctor. His passion for his patients is to be commended. I would recommend him to anyone looking for the best ENT in Sydney, if not this country. Thank you for saving my life Professor Sacks.

I saw Professor Sacks a few years ago for chronic sinusitis. He is a kind, highly knowledgeable doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. He did a wonderful job on my surgery and my sinus issues have been entirely resolved. I completely disagree with the one star given below.
I can’t recommend Prof Sacks highly enough.

Dr Raymond Sacks carried out a nasal septum reconstruction and bilateral terbinate surgery on me.
The results have been absolutely amazing.not only can I now breathe properly through my sinuses but he did such a great job on the reconstructed septum that heresy aside, the end result is better than God did it the first time around. I visited numerous specialists before meeting Raymond. I was immediately taken aback by his absolute professionalism and his profound interest in not only helping me resolve my medical issues, but bettering my life. He was honest to a fault about what he could/could not achieve, and delivered absolutely.
I could not recommend him more highly.
Thank you, Ray.
