I saw Dr Gerges for my laparoscopy and then pregnancy/birth. He was absolutely amazing for both journeys - providing much needed guidance, information and support all with a cool and calm demeanour. Highly highly recommend his services!

Dr Gerges was fantastic, really down to Earth. Makes you feel very comfortable & at ease. My procedure was a great success (endometrial ablation). I’m extremely happy with the outcome & the care taken by Dr Gerges the whole way through the process from before to aftercare.

Dr Gerges was godsend! Having a pregnancy related delicate history meant I was extremely anxious when I got the happy news, that’s when my GP (God bless him as well) strongly recommended me to consult Dr Gerges and am so glad he did. Soon after meeting Dr Gerges, I realised that we are in good hands. He is extremely knowledgeable, has the most positive warm vibe ever and is well respected and loved by all his colleagues as I noted during my stay in the hospital. Mine became a case of emergency C-section case and he managed to get everything sorted and in 15 mins I was operated on to meet my little boy. I will refer him to anybody and everybody for he is a superstar obgyn. Thank you Doc for bringing in so much joy in our lives.

I cannot rate Dr. Gerges high enough! He has been very kind and supportive throughout the process of treating my condition with large fibroids & performed complicated Laproscopy. He’s really patient, very empathetic and listened carefully to all my concerns and fears! He’s extremely knowledgeable at the same time caring, friendly and always shows a positive attitude. Would also recommend the team at the reception (Norwest Ob & Gynaecology) for always being prompt & responsive.

Bas made my pregnancy journey and elective C-Section with twins a positive experience, he was always reassuring and put any concerns I had at ease. Bas was reliable and approachable throughout the whole journey, would definitely recommend!

Dr. Gerges is the most amazing obstetrician I could have for my second one after a traumatic first delivery. He was always available to answer all my questions (with a smile) which made us feel very comfortable. He managed the birthing extremely well and my recovery was very smooth too. Can't thank him enough. I would highly recommend him if you want a smooth birthing experience.

Dr Gerges managed my second pregnancy and from the very first consult I knew he would be the best person to manage my pregnancy. Right from the first consult to my 6 week postpartum appointment, Bas took the time to listen to any concerns I had, answered all my questions and I always left knowing I was in the best care.

I was nervous about having a c-section, and from the moment he walked into the theatre, he found a way to make my husband and I laugh and his words of encouragement as I got the spinal placed in made me feel at ease. Bas also checked in many times at the hospital after my c-section to ensure I was recovering as expected.

My wife came to Dr Gerges when her endometriosis pain became too much. He was wonderful from the start, listening to all her complaints of pain and discomfort. Offering up different options that would help. We also wanted a baby which complicated things for him. Long story short we have our healthy baby boy delivered successfully, via emergency C section due to complications, 2 months ago. Thank you Dr Gerges for giving us a family and always approachable throughout our journey.

Dr Gerges is a wonderful obstetrician who really took the time to listen to every concern I had and advocate for me for the best possible outcome during my pregnancy and birth. At each appointment he provided up to date, evidence based knowledge regarding my particular circumstances and always worked with me when making decisions about my care and birth plan.
He was incredibly empathetic to the challenges I faced and was the best possible cheerleader for me to achieve the birth that I hoped for.

Dr. Bas was fantastic from the first visit right until the post birth follow up visits. He is genuinely super friendly, and is very good at calming our nerves. Being first time parents, we had no idea what to expect and were always nervous during scans and visits. He always made it a point to stay positive and reassure us. He is also very up to date and always explains in detail any questions we may ask and would cover things in case we miss. Thank you so much Dr. Bas from both Thejini and myself for making this journey a wonderful one. We will have no hesitation in returning if we have another baby.

Dr Bas has been my endometriosis excision specialist since 2020. Highly recommended to see him regarding endometriosis and pelvic pain. He gave my quality of life back after surgery. Amazing bedside manner, always listening to my concerns. He was also my obgyn, had a complicated pregnant at the end. I had a Caesarian and he delivered my premature baby safely. He was calm and made sure I was well informed throughout the procedure. Caesarian scar- healed really well post op. I didn’t have any complications or infections that needed further management.
He helped made our dream of beings parents come true by addressing my endometriosis, referring me to another specialist and delivering my baby.

I can't speak highly enough of Dr Bas. Bas treated me for endometriosis after experiencing difficulties to conceive our second child after being treated for this to conceive our first child. After returning to my original surgeon for endometriosis treatment only to be told our struggles were not related to endometriosis, we decided to meet with Dr Bas for his opinion. Bas listened to all of my symptoms, our concerns and anxieties and helped us to move forward with treatment decisions. Bas was highly professional as a surgeon for endometriosis and with his post-surgery care. We then conceived our second child after recovery and had Bas as our OB. Our journey with Bas for our second pregnancy was a a pleasure with both him and the team at Norwest Obstetrics. Bas always had time to listen and talk through all anxieties related to the pregnancy and delivery, we never felt rushed, and he was always available when unexpected questions came up. The delivery experience was completely anxiety free, we felt very safe with Bas in his approach. We are truly grateful to have had our last pregnancy experience with Dr Bas, 5 stars aren’t enough!

Dr Gerges (Bas) is incredible! We first met Bas when we were planning on starting a family and from our first appointment we knew he was the person for us. Throughout every stage of our pregnancy, birth and care after the birth of our twin girls Bas was so professional, available, personable, honest and kind. He is genuinely so caring and I had no trouble putting my trust in him. I would definitely recommend Bas!
