Doyle Ground reviews
42Most amazing experience for free with family and the fireworks were awsome not too much crowd also
Best park for cricket as net is here that cover all side. N slides and play area is the key thing
Ground with a walking track around and kids play area in a corner. Good for cycling, walking and jogging. Parking available around the park. There is a dog park nearby, but this is not dog friendly. Cricket ground is well maintained and has 2 pitches. Ground is always busy with people. And has beautiful paramatta skyline view.
I went to see if it's worth going into the dog park but it's just got pools of water all over the place & the ground is so muddy YOU WILL NEED GUM BOOTS to go through it & your dog will be covered in mud that is NOT for ME or my dog the has a really bad smell
A very nice large lush green ground with a walking/jogging track all around. It has an open gym in one corner along with two cricket practise nets nearby for the enthusiasts. It also has exercise bars in yet another corner and an exclusive kids' play area with swings n slides etc. A line of green trees all around the ground add to its beauty.
Large park to do walking laps around the park. A. Grade Cafe located across the street on the middle west side of the park.
Grew up around the area, walking across Doyle to get to and from school. I like the new improvements of exercise equipment
Large grass area, playground for kids, exercise stations and pathway to walk. Fresh air and lovely experience.
Peaceful, safe. Family environment. Very good for an outting with the dogs or a walk or a personal space to work out.
The park has exercise stations, amenities, batting practice cages, benches play area and a garden called Sid Teale Memorial Grove.
History
Named after Cecil Howe Doyle who became a wool broker and attended The King's School.
He gave the land to The King's School in 1929 who named it Doyle ground.
The school leased the grounds to the council between 1952- 1955 then the council purchased the grounds for a park.
Lovely place. Over 2km round trip walking path. Public toilets. Coffee shop and SPAR supermarket, bottle shop on Western side of the park. Lots of play equipment and fitness equipment.
A Regular weekend visitor of Doyle Ground for my book reading habit. Quite Near to my 7/11 coffee place, making it a perfect place for me and my kindle over the weekend.
Thinking of spending your time with kids, or just a stroll with your pet or workout. Doyle ground will be a good choice with heaps of parking space, near by cafe (The Container), and toilet facilities.
Great place to exercise and for kids to play. Awesome bike track surrounds the park. Plenty of space to kick a ball around.
Mapped 1k running track, children’s play area and a huge green field make this a great place for exercise and sports.
I grew up as a young child on Parramatta, playing Cricket at Doyle Ground.
My favourite Coffee Shop in Parramatta The Container is directly opposite Doyle Ground in Buller Street.
Nice and big. Not very even though. Good for a day of cricket as there are 2 pitches in this bug ground. It also has a nice practice nets area.
I just love this ground. Its got a 1 km walking/ jogging track that goes all around. Kids play area, open gym, drinking water, benches and good toilet facilities. Never struggled to get a car park around here. During the day, its mostly occupied by Kids from School. There have recently installed better flood lights for evening/night.
Best place for jogging or walking at North Parramatta. Equipped with kids playground, exercise machines, public toilets, water fountains, and plenty of seats this always green field is a pleasant place for exercising or having a bit of relaxing time.
