Downtown Souvenirs & Gifts reviews
28A great place to buy all the necessary souvenir that you want. It’s a quite expensive but they have a lot of options.
Huge variety of things to purchase. I did find what I was looking for at a reasonable price. The store was clean and well stocked.
This shops intentionally charges more. The cashier has a bad attitude. I bought two $29.99 products and one $34.99 product. He charged me three of the $34.99 product, therefore charged me $10 more at last. I did not notice that until that night. However, once I walked out the shop, the security alarm rang. I quickly asked the owner what happened and he just told me to go and didn’t want me to double check if the products were paid with him.
With his behaviour I could clearly tell that he didn’t want to double check the products with me and was afraid that I would find out the problem.
High-quality souvenirs at high prices. Many standard souvenirs are available significantly cheaper elsewhere. Clothing is usually of high quality
Good amount of shirts and clothing items. Unfortunately all of the items are heavily over priced. Some items we saw elsewhere wereT least 50% le$$.
They do have a prime location so if you don't mind, the selection was really good but pricey.
Good variety of souvenirs. Good selection of Australian sweatshirts. Staff is friendly and professional.
I had a hobby of collecting magnets while traveling, so I went to buy one! I went to 4 cities in Australia for 2 weeks, and Sydney was the last time. I wanted to buy a magnet with various cities written on it, so I bought this ^^
There are many types of souvenirs, and there is also a Ugg shop on the second floor, so it's good to go shopping.
Was served by a senior male staff member who was not very friendly at all! Was then charged an eftpos surcharge without being told beforehand after spending $79. Surcharges are understandable for transactions under $10 but for $79… that’s a bit scummy. At least tell the customer beforehand. Do not recommend and will not shop there again.
And it's not tax free here. I have to buy more than 300 dollars, but please do it.don't come here!
I had the pleasure of visiting this gift and souvenir shop during my recent trip to Sydney, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The shop boasts a wide range of unique and high-quality products that truly capture the essence of Australia. From beautifully crafted souvenirs to quirky gifts, there was something for everyone.
What really made my experience exceptional was the staff and even the owner who were all incredibly helpful and friendly. They took the time to assist me in finding the perfect gifts for my family and friends back home, and even provided helpful tips on what to see and do in Sydney.
Thanks to this wonderful shop, my trip to Australia was made even more memorable. I highly recommend this gift and souvenir shop to anyone looking for authentic Australian souvenirs and gifts, as well as top-notch customer service.
A very good selection of gifts for all of the family. At fairly good prices. Managed to pick up all I wanted.
Extremely overpriced and the man behind the counter was being very rude to the female staff. You can get exactly the same souvenirs from Paddy's market for a quarter of the price.
It's a best shopping centre having many varieties. The prices are also moderate and not much expensive. The beauty about this shop is it's in the main city.
I bought staff there, they didn’t give me a receipts and they don’t explain their policies about not exchanges. I had not use it any of them.
Its convenient and centralized but way overpriced compared to paddy. But you should be able to grab some souvenirs if you dont have the time. Sometimes you pay for convenience.
If I could give 0 would be better. Over priced souvenirs, you can find much cheaper in Paddy's market. The Greek worker is awful, he mistreats customers, he is racist and has no knowledge on sales. Hope he gets fired and if he is the owner, Covid did not hit him enough.
Very terrible customer service, overpriced products. Buy in Paddy’s market where they treat you well and have amazing negotiable prices!
Rude! The old guy with the glassess, instead of answering our question if there are still more sizes of the shoes we were after told us that those shoes should be returned to where it was displayed and just ignored us. As if we don't know that, if I could give zero star I would! Why would you spend your money to a shop with no manners and good customer service. Atay lang.
Lots of Australian souvenirs adequately priced and a nice selection, additionally lots of Ugg products and right by the light rail
The owner of the shop was a bit unpolite and not willing to satisfy the customer (wanted to pack the things in separates bags for my fam members to what he told: "you do this in your leisure time at home or in the hotel ", do you even treat people like this?). Secondly, please check carefully the expiry date, some things are expired 1 and 2 years ago. Now that he knows about the issue, all dates are covered. Also overpriced, can go bit deeper in the streets and find cheaper deals.
