Came on a Saturday at 10: 20am, there was never more than 3 people waiting.

Tried calling, rang out, tried calling again and they immediately picked the phone up and put it back down.

These ladies are amazing! Everyone just remember they are not only in the health industry (That's been under a HUGE amount of pressure) but they are caring for all of us, & our community. Never a bad thing to say accept a heartfelt THANK YOU!

I have never felt faint, been sick, or experienced ringing in my ears after having bloods taken or during. The complete lack of respect I just experienced is appalling - my knowledge of my body was ignored on multiple occasions. I know that my veins collapse and are thin (no matter how much water I drink!), so I told the pathologist this. I was ignored. I then asked them to take blood from my other arm and I was ignored. I then told them the blood can be taken from higher up my arm or from my hand as Id rather the pain than feeling and hearing them unsuccessfully take blood from my arm. I was ignored. The pathologist tried to take my blood unsuccessfully THREE TIMES USING THREE SEPARATE VIALS. She then tried to tell me that i was feeling faint/ill because if how many vials they needed to take. That was not the reason. The reason was that they refused to listen to my request on multiple occasions and proceeded to disrespect my body and knowledge THREE TIMES. This isn’t necessarily the reflection of this pathologist but more so the training they are given about listening to patients. Ive never left a bad review anywhere but I was so rattled by this.

The rudest, most unprofessional lady works here. I've had the misfortune to encounter her twice and it's driven me to find another provider. There are some incredibly friendly and skilled nurses here but she casts a shadow over the whole operation. And l'm not scared of needles. Couldn't imagine how horrendous she'd be if you were

When I tried Leichhardt branch today there was a super long line, but pleasantly surprised to get straight through at Summer Hill. Staff were very friendly and I was in and out in 10 mins.

Went in to get a urea breath test on Saturday. This lady named Corrie is so so rude, started shaking her head as soon as she sees my referral. She is annoyed that she has to do this for me on a busy Saturday because the test is going to take 15 minutes. She made me feel very uncomfortable and as if it’s my fault that I come in for this test on a Saturday morning. 8 minutes later as I am ready to take the test, she said “stand up, take your mask off, don’t breathe on me”, as if I have some kind of contiguous germs as soon as I take off my mask. Extremely unprofessional! She does not deserve a job where you’re supposed to be helping people who are going through health issues.

If you advertise on your signage that you close at 11: 30am, turning people away at 11: 15am is completely inappropriate (because you are closing soon). What other kind of business or service gets away with that?

How does one expect to make an appointment if no one ever answers the phone.
I tried calling every day for a week.but had to take a day off work to physically go in to make an appointment with the first availability being weeks away. Totally under staffed.

Had my gestational diabetes test completed here. The staff were lovely and very accomodating. I dealt with Lily-Rose & Tracy completed my test/bloods. Positive experience. Highly recommend.

Needs to either retrain staff or get more well-trained staff.
Butchered and bruised my arm drawing blood, it was very painful.
Nurse made it out to be my fault that I hadn't drunk enough water (I had 2 litres). As soon as she'd puncture the vein huge amounts would flow but she'd move around with the needle too much slowing down the pressure and having to re-puncture.

This bloody lot lost my test results I know there busy but pathologist make that much money you guys was worth billions and you can organise a online System where you can look up your results you make us call you and not get through sort your selfs you have it all digital on your end

One of the staff members were incredibly rude and walks away while we were the last ones waiting and doesn't come back for over 20 min, she also had an attitude for no reason.
I don't recommend this place.

Kind, attentive, friendly service. Tracy went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and safe.

EDIT - if you were thinking of going here, go to Five Dock instead. Worlds apart - much better service, and a whole lot less chaotic, at Five Dock. Seriously, whoever it was that I encountered last Saturday (6 March) at Summer Hill should not have a job. She was disgusting.

Update: I no longer get the nurse I based my initial review on. There is another lady there who is very friendly and knows what she's doing.

Very rude staff. Unpleasant, abrupt manner. Don't even acknowledge you when you walk in the door. No greeting whatsoever. One of the two women watched tv while I had my bloods done and when I had a small coughing fit and was trying to clear my throat she did not even ask if I would like a drink of water, just kept watching TV. I had to return the next day and once again, they barely looked up when I arrived. I may as well have been invisible. What's with the attitude ladies, drop it. There's no need for you to be so cold and clinical. Won't be back.

Not impressed with the nurse who took my blood this morning. She ended up butchering my arm. I now have an ugly, painful bruise. I have done blood tests numerous times in the past, at other pathologists, none as incompetent as this one. Would not recommend this practice at all.

No longer up stairs - in new location next door.
Efficient & patient practitioners, recommended.
