We have purchased many computers - Lap tops / desk tops from here - the service we have received from purchase to product care (service / repairs) in the computer section is the best in Newcastles. They are so helpful and the advice / service is always helpful.

Went to buy a certain laptop and was told by John the only one available was the store on display model and after further check on the computer by the salesman that NO others were in stock in NSW at other stores and now a few weeks later several are on sale brand new sealed at other stores seems the salesman lied just to get the sale for himselft very cagey sales tactic and poor customer service CAN NOT RECOMMEND DOYMANE KOTARA

Helpful in every way customercomes first.knowledgeable and thorough.our go to shop for bedding (tempur is amazing) their outdoor furniture also great! Recliner is next. When there is a problem they are happy to solve it.

Professional service and great communication. I was very impressed with the willingness of the staff in the electrical department to assist me when I purchased a new phone. Their advice was also objective and commendable. At no point was I pressured into purchasing more expensive product or encouraged to get an "extended warranty".

We were delighted to meet Emma when looking for a leather couch. She really went out of her way to assist us, even making a call to a manufacturer to check on a non-standard size. We found her very knowledgeable when providing feature details, without being prompted. Despite us not buying a couch there due to unavailability of the required size, nonetheless she will be our first port of call for any future furniture purchases.

Service not too bad until you purchase. After that nothing that is agreed to happens, to the point where I the customer.was told that a refrigerator delivery would be brought in to my home installed, and defected fridge and packaging taken away. All of this was just sales talk as when Ben was notified he basically called me a liar and that he said nothing of a sort. I was told by couriers they would not enter my premises and told me to install it myself. They did try pushing it through the front door but would not enter. The door was damaged by these people in the process.
After all was said and done, when I mentioned about the door I was told it had nothing to do with Domayne and to ring the courier whom I would not have a clue they are.
I contacted New South Wales Health and they informed me that a refrigerator is an essential item and could have been taken inside premises as long as masks were worn. Anyway if you want to buy a refrigerator from Domayne be prepared to carry it into your home.
Domayne's motto. Sell product. Proceed to next customer. Forget about customer service. Promotion eminent.

Still waiting for bed base and bedhead purchased early January. Salesperson was competent but there has been lack of communication regarding delay.

Brought my first new bed in 20 years from the kotara store, after a few minor hiccups, my mattresses protector wasn't on the truck with my bed. I rang and got some amazing customer service from a legend called Izzy, who asked the awesome Chontelle if she could drop it off to my house on her way home from work. Which she did! I just had the best night's sleep in 20 years. So happy with the bed, and the old fashioned service I got from you lovely people. Thanks a bunch. Bruce

I found the atmosphere in the shop very tense. Everyone wanted to sell you something. The staff came across as being helpful but, upon reflection were fast-talking, hard-selling people whose main purpose in life was getting a sale. I felt quite unsettled by the experience and am not inclined to visit the store again.

Purchased a laptop for school. The man sold us product care and said that if the product is dropped then the product care covers this. He also mentioned that the product care goes for three years. However as things happen the laptop was damaged and hard to use. Walked into get a repair or replacement on product care to find out that it had firstly expired after two years and that it didn't cover physical damages. I was shocked about this and I now have to do 2 weeks worth of hard assignments on a broken laptop. The man who sold this to us should be sacked because he is lying to his customers. I really expected that domain was to do better and not lie to their customers. From now on if you want to buy a laptop don't use domain use somewhere like Harvey Norman.

If you are looking for the best product knowledge and personable service, I recommend Desi from Domayne Kotara. I have bought televisions and kitchen appliances from Desi and cannot recommend his service highly enough. Extremely polite and highly knowledgeable on all products he sells. Thanks for the great shopping experience Desi, we will definatly be back.
